I'm 16, i love animals, i have a dog, 3 cats, a kitten, a bunny, and a puppy. i'm short, hyper, long winded but shy and quiet. i can't pronounce my r's, so i get picked on when i talk. i'm easy to upset and piss off, but i'm also easy to make smile. i'm insecure and confused about a lot things, and however confident i may act or say i am, i'm scared inside. i understand myself, but can't explain it to others. i know what's wrong with me, i just don't know what's so wrong about it. i've been writing for a while now, and love it, though it's no longer what i'm looking to get into a career doing. i'm looking to become a photographer and travel a lot. i want to get out of here as soon as possible and never see any of my family ever again. i hate all of them. i cuss a lot, though almost never in my writings. i wish my life was more like a book that i was writing, with situations in my control, but i know that's not gonna happen. i daydream a lot, and love to read. i also love anime, but other than that don't watch much tv. i can't spell worth a shit and i get confused easily, mostly cause i think too much or not at all. i have no balance in that way. i love to swim and play around. i've very hyper and like to do things constantly, including clicking pens, which annoys the hell out of my friends. i'm a true smart ass and very sarcastic at times, and love to joke around and goof off. i hate school. i', good at math and lit and i like Latin. People annoy me. i live in a bad area, with lots of shootings and gangs, so nothing much scares me. i think horror movies are retarded, as are lovey movies. i love stuffed animals and music is my life. i have close to if not over by now, 2,000 songs on my ipod. i'd go crazy with out it. i'm white btw. and a girl.my hair is naturally dark brown and i have really darkly tanned skin, made all the more so cause i have native American in me, and my hair right now is super short cause i let my friend cut it, and is more reddish blondish kinda, from being bleached cause i dyed it purple. when school starts back i'm gonna dye it again. i have no clue why you're still reading this. According to my friends i'm smart, though honestly i act like a dumb ass. I know random facts, some useful, most not. i'm an elaborate thinker and have been compared to L from Deathnote, and i can imitate Light's laugh in a youtube video where someone was messing with the affects on media player. i'm not girly in the least. i was always a tomboy and hung with the guys, often chasing some around the playground in elementary school. i'm pretty strong, and enjoy working and earning money. i don't have a job at the moment, cause i'm too shy and just don't feel like it this summer. next summer though i'm gonna try to get a job at Dixie Land, or maybe a pet store. i like spinning, which is why i like two of the rides at Dixie Land, the Scrambler and the Sea Serpent. both spin around and don't go high. i'm afraid of heights. i hate bugs. i like being outdoors and just off in my own little world. i walk around my subdivision with two of my friends a lot, but never alone cause i'd get short or something around here. my best friend is about the only person shorter than me that i know of my age. i'm not very social with new people. i want a pet snake but my mom said hell no. As income tax time approaches, did you ever notice: When you put the two words 'The' and 'IRS' together, it spells
' THEIRS'?

Just this side of the Summer Land,
is a place called The Rainbow Bridge.
When an Animal dies that has been
especially close to someone;
that Animal Companion goes to
The Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills;
cushions and catnip; tires and tug rings
for all of our special Friends.

They can run and play,
drowse in the Sun and dream lovely Dreams.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine
and our Friends are warm and comfortable.

Our Lady of Lord of the Animals smiles
upon them and Blesses them all with Their Touch.

All the Animals who were ill, old, hurt or maimed
are restored to health and vigor;
are made whole and strong again.

They are just as we remember them in our
Dreams of days and times gone by.

The Animals are happy and content;
except for one small thing;
they each miss someone very special to them;
someone who had to be left behind.

All of the Animals run and play together.
Old hatreds are forgotten,
un-needed instincts discarded.

But then, a day comes when one
suddenly stops and looks into the distance.

Her bright eyes are intent;
His eager body begins to quiver and
a hopeful purr starts deep within Her.

Suddenly, She begins to run from the group,
flying over the green grass
His legs carrying Him faster and faster.

A familiar and much-loved face has just been spotted!!

When the two come together,
they cling in joyous reunion;
NOT ever to be parted again!

Happy kisses rain on tear-streaked face and fur,
hands-again-caress the beloved head,
paws pat and knead and trusting eyes gaze
once more into each other—so long absent from Life;
but NOT ever absent from the Heart.

Then, as our Lord and Lady smile at the rightness,
they cross The Rainbow Bridge together…

I find myself sympathizing with the spork
wondering what need it fulfills
it's not quite a spoon, and yet not a fork
it should be one or the other, it just lacks the skills

Caught in the middle
stuck in an awkward transition
it's creation like a riddle
yet laughed at and made fun of for it's condition

What's the purpose? many say
Why can't it just be one or other other?
Why does it live in this shade of grey?
Yet they must serve a purpose, we see them one after another.

I admire the spork for the bravery it possesses
daring to expose it's existence
ignoring all the curiosities, stares, and guesses
and going on with confidence and persistence

I try to see the spork from a new perspective
and think about it's dual purpose and function,
the wisdom of knowing and feeling both sides, how introspective!
Should we even dare call this a dysfunction?

So go on mighty spork! Be all you can be
Show the world that there's more than just black and white
With your confidence, wisdom and bravery
We can help change the world with every bite.

forgive. Because we all know
