Hi!

I always used to hate English at school. Really, really, really hate it. I mean, spelling and grammar and that kind of stuff was fine and came easily to me. On the other hand, writing creatively and/or analyzing other peoples' works meant nothing to me and I just didn't get it. That's not to say that I do totally understand it now either, but the one piece so far (Love) which I've written on my own - without being "set" it by a teacher - gave me a glimpse of some of the reasons why we do write. It came at one of those times when I was just so frustrated with life/things in general, and I had no-one to scream it to! Not that I scream very often, but that intensity of feeling is usually gone before I've done anything really useful with it. Hopefully there'll be some more moments like that in the near future.

I'd just like to say thanks for the reviews I've received so far.It's been hugely encouraging, and it'd be brilliant to hear what anyone else thinks too, good or bad, and I'll do my best to reciprocate.
