Author has written 22 stories for General, Romance, Life, Love, Family, General, Friendship, and School. 9/13/06 I guess it's about time I added a bit of an update. For those of you who are actually reading my work, I'm on a bit of a writing holiday right now. I've done a bit of work on a concept for a story, but otherwise I'm trying to focus on school right now. Drop me a line if you have any questions, comments, etc. Maybe tell me to start writing again, because I have writer's (poet's?) block. Well, all I can say is I'm new at this. Most of what I write is based on my own experiences in life, especially in family problems and love. I guess I write about what I know. I can't seem to write any prose (fiction) pieces about love; at least, not romantic love. It's odd, though, because I ama huge sucker for romance stories and movies. I'm also more of poetry kind of person. The few stories I write are one-shot kind of things, so what's on here is done. Please review to your heart's content and let me know what you think. Also, you can contact me at the above email address. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has reviewed my writing. . . it was only after some nudging - and poking, and prodding - from some friends of mine that I posted some of my stuff, and it's nice to know some of you like it. A quick note - please check out some of Chiclet's writing. She's really awesome and I personally adore her stories. http://www.fictionpress.com/~chiclets Women who set a low value on themselves make life hard for all women. Never retreat, never explain, never apologize. Get the thing done and let them howl. These are two of my favourite quotes of all time, both by Nellie McClung. She's not necessarily a household name, but was definitely an amazing woman, and an author, to boot! Okay, I have a question for the . . . four of you that look at my profile page. Do you want me to attempt (key word) to write "My Story" into a longer novella/novel type story, or leave it as is? I'll warn you that I would be a sporatic updater at best. Either review the story or PM me and let me know. I'll also add a comment to it. Thanks! | |||||||
