Thanks to everyone for their messages. It's nice to know that my stories are liked and that people are waiting for updates. Thanks. However, I am going through a very rough patch in my life right now. I have a health problem which is currently being "investigated" you could say, and one of the tests performed came back with an unexpected result -- naturally, I am in no state of mind or will to do anything but hope and pray that I'll be okay. I have been off-line for about two weeks now after getting the "weird results" because I feel that my life needs to change direction and there's many things that I need not deal with right now -- some on-line affairs count in that basket.

I hope that you can understand this and wait. Prayers are always welcomed.

Thanks for your messages, reviews, and support.

Note:
All anonymous reviews will be answered out of chapter -- after each update -- at my homepage. Thanks to everyone for their support!

My Writing

I write for fun.
Often I see people come on this website expecting to find stories of a professional caliber. There are really talented writers on FP, and some stories do read quite like those novels published worldwide -- but keep in mind this is FP, not a publishing house.

Every writer starts somewhere -- and perhaps the next big name will have started here -- but that's not my goal. I do not aim to become professional. In fact, most of the stories that I write with a serious intent in mind will probably never be posted on here. Why reveal a "brilliant plot and draft" to the cyber world and risk plagiarism? (Not saying that I want people to steal what I do post on here, because that's not cool either...)

My mentality for writing my FP stories is that if it stops being fun, then it's not worth spending my free time on. I still care deeply for what I post on FP -- and the stories mean a lot to me -- but I don't want to stress. I don't claim to have perfect grammar, or spelling, or tense -- or sense.

While some author's encourage criticism, I really don't care for it. I'm lazy, so I'm not likely to go back and fix what someone pointed out was wrong, or horrify my brain over proper tense and sentence structure... for me it's all about flow... about writing what I feel inspired to... without restraints, or chains, or rules. I'm already pretty OCD, so if I were to fuss over such things then we'd never have an update, or story published.

I write whatever I want.
If the mood strikes me, I write; romance, angst, spiritual -- whatever. I may choose to write about things that don't make people comfortable. For example, if my story has a good vs. evil feel, I'm probably going to bring religion in at some point. These are my works and I will string and weave the plot along as I please, and see fit. If my characters seem moody, or crazy, or weird -- I intend them to be that way. Characterization is probably the most important aspect of writing for me, and usually my focal point. I create a cast that serves a purpose to the plot and that will in the end paint a brilliant lesson (or so I hope) for those who read it. You may not agree with the lesson, but then again, the world has always been a disagreeable place.

If you're offended by anything I write the solution is simple: stop reading.

Because in the end, I don't change my plot to fit anyone's whims. There's only for one person whom I change my ideas for, and as long as this person is pleased -- I don't really care what anyone else thinks.
