think it's fair to the author to review with "omg! tHat's sooooo
goodd." I respect the authors I review; my respect just manifests
itself through actual analysis instead of spending the review trying to
boost their self-confidence. A real critique should never skip praise
to fuss over weaknesses of a piece, but there's no point in taking the
spoon full of sugar without the medicine, no matter how pleasantly it
goes down. (o_O Um, and I apparently like convoluted metaphors....) Oh,
and random e-mails are met with much less acidity than I dish out for
