My real name is Melissa, which I don't often share because I despise it. But you're welcome to call me whatever; Melissa, Strawberries, Ellette, etc.
I turned 15 years old this month, which is an exciting prospect for me. All I want to do is finish high school and get to college, really. So the more birthdays I pass, the happier I am. :)
My writing isn't great, but my update tendencies are even worse. I have a nasty habit of getting over-excited over a story, posting one chapter, and then losing interest. I'm trying to work my way out of it, but it's a slow process. (And I'm lazy.)
I'm pretty shy around people I don't know, but it's completely different when I'm around close friends. I'm loud and outgoing, and being a klutz, I embarrass myself constantly. I love to read, write and draw, and my life goal is to travel the world everywhere I'd like to go (including Italy, Australia, Greece, Ireland, Brazil, and many many more.)
As I said, I love to draw, and the one place I spend most of my time (besides here and fanfiction.net) is deviantART.com. My page is here, and I would adore you forever if you dropped on by and said something about my art. Many thanks!
My favorite books are all here: in my LibraryThing Library. (LibraryThing.com is a wonderful place for any book lovers.)
It's always hard to name my favorite movies, as there are so many, but in the top ten are definitely: Pride & Prejudice (2005), Stardust and Pan's Labyrinth. And then, of course, my obsession, Disney cartoons. I grew up on all the classics, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Cinderella, etc. and I never stopped loving them. (It's actually my dream to work at Disney as an animator one day.)
Fanfiction;
I spend just as much time on Fanfiction.net as I do here, and since I don't have an active account there I've decided to put all my fanfiction interests here. :)
Harry Potter
I used to be completely and utterly obsessed with this fandom, but now that the series has ended I'm kind of over it. I still dabble in my favorite fanfiction though, as it's just too lovely to give up. My favorite ship definitely has to be Harry/Ginny, though I despise it when Ginny is twisted into a controlling, perfect Mary-Sue. And shamefully, I love all the overused cliche-filled fanfiction.
Eragon
I'm kind of depressed there isn't more activity in this fandom (though there is more than there was a couple years ago). In my opinion it deserves just as much attention as Harry Potter. :D I've never really had a favorite ship in this fandom, as I was never too fond of Arya and there's really no other suitable pairing for Eragon. I've sworn off all Eragon/OC fics, however, as every encounter I've had with them the OC was a terrible Mary-Sue.

Kataang all the way, definitely. I'm incredibly sad that the series has ended, but hopefully the fandom will live on years from now. Anything and everything Zutara just makes me sick (but don't tell those Zutara shippers I said that - they're scary). I just believe that Aang and Katara are perfect for each other. At least my final wishes were fulfilled during the series finale. ;)
Alex Rider
Again, I wish there was a little more activity around fanfiction for this fandom. I'm just thankful that I've found a couple authors that love Alex Rider as much as I do, and write fantastic stories for it. This is one of the only fandoms that I actually ship a slash ship first and foremost, a rarity for me, believe it. Alex/Wolf is my favorite, second to none. It surprised even me, I'll tell you that. XD
Artemis Fowl
All I can say is Artemis/Holly. Duh. I could never ever read an Artemis/Minerva fic. I think I'd much rather gouge my eyes out, to tell you the truth. XD It's just too bad that Eoin Colfer has kind of made it clear that Artemis/Holly will never happen in the books but hey, that's what fanfiction is for, right? ;)
My Stories;
Misadventures of a Plain Jane is in the works, and I'm going to work very hard to make this my first ever completed story. Wish me luck.
I have a couple other ideas floating around in my head, but I definitely won't be starting anything until I have a definite plan.
