~Asano~

I've been told I have a massively bad habit of biting off more than I can chew. I now know this is quite correct, unfortunately, but I still trudge along through high school. =D My goal is to become a writer one day, and so, I do as much writing as my busy schedule allows. I tend to end up with a social commentary or a biting statement against humankind in some way or another, mainly regarding our nastier habits. I s'pose you could find an overall message of hope for humanity within my writing (except in Splintered Humanity, but that's probably not coming up here anyway), if you look hard enough.

Though updates are very slow, and I may disappear at random from time to time, I take a long time before I upload anything at all because of how much I edit things.

Fictions:

Achenar

Not to be confused with the recent One-Shot posted, even though it uses a ship of the same name and similar characters, Achenar is a sharp commentary on human nature. Death is reversable, and those who die in battle are easily revived. War has been trivialized, and yet...it still exists, indefinitely. Two star-spanning nations fight endless battles for no apparent reason other than to fight; pirates and rouges snatch up vessels left and right; rebels fight against the immorality of this death-reversing procedure. The legendary captain Cyrus Darwin, the young Altienne Valerie, and the crew of the Achenar must decide where their loyalties lie. And finally, when one of their number dies, the stakes are raised exponentially. Altienne must choose her own path amongst the war-torn stars.

In The Trenches

The diary and daily life of an unnamed soldier, with his age and nationality unspecified, as he experiences life and death in the trenches of the Great War. It will be a mixture of diary entries and third-person action (subject to change to first-person, depending on which I prefer).

As-Yet-To-Be-Named Western-Based Vengeance/Repentance Story

Tobias Burton is a man who places others above himself at all times. This has never had any major effect on his life that he can see, but on one day in the summer of the 19th Century, he will learn that certain people are not meant to be saved, and will also learn what happens when such a man is saved from death.
