Author has written 20 stories for Family, Romance, Life, War, General, Politics, and Love.

Sometimes it's just time for a change.

My name is Jules. I'm seventeen years old. I've never been in love, and like to think I have no delusions on the matter, either. I attend a residential high school for the arts. I'm currently working my ass off completing college applications and attempting to get a decent writing portfolio together. Any feedback you could give me on my writing, especially newer works, would be absolutely fantastic. :)

Some favorites:

White Oleander by Janet Fitch
Geek Love by Katherine Dunn
Atonement by Ian McEwan

Sharon Olds
Anne Sexton
Linda Pastan
Liesel Mueller
Allen Ginsberg
Carl Dennis
Michael Ryan

Neutral Milk Hotel
Ella Fitzgerald
Death Cab for Cutie
Bright Eyes
Fiona Apple
The Shins
Animal Collective
The Dodos
Belle & Sebastian
Deftones
Keane

Got any recommendations for me? Bring them on.

Let's see.

"Goodnight Saigon" won Best Challenge Response down at the SKoW Awards, and Bekkia's "Tell me a Story" contest down at DeviantART.

If you see Rachelle, tell her I'm looking for her and would like to continue "The Romancing of Tuesday Dennings." My solo-novel with Tuesday just didn't work.

And...feel free to PM or email me for whatever reason. I'm chatty. :)
