Author has written 20 stories for General, Song, Historical, and General. LAST UPDATED: Tuesday, January 21st, 10:07pm, Australian time(East Coast)
I've finished high-school, oh yes indeed! :) And now I'm off to University, studying Creative Writing (for three years--oh, yes please!). And I'll have to get a job (ohhh, noooo...). But I'm still here on fanfiction.net, plodding away on my Harry Potter fanfictions (if you're a fan, I dare you to attempt my "By The Light Of The Moon"--believe me, the earlier you get in on it, the less you're going to have to read. It's already up to 30000 words (in my word-processor, anyway) and there's THIRTY-SIX chapters to go!--including an epilogue. Since I'm very influenced by music, and I tend to write my stories while listening to music, you'll notice that many of my stories are named after songs--even those which aren't songfics("Lady of the Flowers", "Playground Love"). My favourite bands include OLD Garbage(Shirley, now you suck. What happened?!), Placebo(mmm... molko-liscious!), THE SMITHS(morrissey is a GOD, so you should all listen), Lamb, Counting Crows, Magic Dirt, Tori Amos, Andreas Johnson, Lou Reed, David Bowie, Nirvana and just about anything else that's up for grabs.... that is, excluding several things known as RATM(sorry, guys, but without little Zac-man I have no respect for them.... not that there was much to respect in the first place!!) My favourite movies include: "A Clockwork Orange", "The Talented Mr. Ripley", "The Breakfast Club", "THE GODFATHER", "THE GODFATHER: Part II", "Velvet Goldmine"(eek! Mr. Molko in glitter!!) and every single thing saying "STAR WARS" on the planet! Hell yeah! On a similar note, the most gorgeous guys in the world are, in this order: 1. Grantles... as much as an F***head he enjoys being, that does not mean my love for him will ever die. Pfft--unless he keeps lusting after bloody Jillian-the-skanky-ho forever. Then he'll be the patriarch of a Pizza Hut family... (inside joke, sorry!) 2. ORLANDO BLOOM - because he WILL be mine, OH YES, he will be mine! (sorry for the "Wayne's World" quote)... you just wait and see! The year is 2010, and a little film named "ETHER" will have him wandering around Manchester, accompanied by SMITHS music, falling in love with his humble director--ME! :) 3. VANISH! - my mysterious obsession! My love for you will NEVER die, my gorgeous boy! 4. BLUE MASCARA - Departed about a year ago, my little Amanda-Panda. 5. Brian Molko. Sexy beast.... sexy voiced beast. Hee... 6. Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. Mmmm.... it's-a Brian Slade, it's-a Steerpike, it's-a really, really, goodlooking, plus great actor! (for those of you UNEDUCATED, he's also the soccer coach in "Bend it like Beckham"... hee.) ***** Last Film Seen: "8 Mile", which was OK, but not the greatest film in the world. The whole rap-culture thing was interesting, but, and there were some funny bits--and some dirty bits, which made me wonder why all these parents were bringing their EIGHT YEAR OLD BOYS to a film which uses the F-word every five seconds. Pfft. Funkiest CD: "SINGLES" from The Smiths, just because that was the only one my dodgy SANITY had! Pfft. But it's got all the good songs on it, so I'm happy. Current Book: Lately I've read "ORLANDO", by Virginia Woolf, "Possesion" by A.S. Byatt, "Lolita" by Vladimir Nabokov, "A Clockwork Orange" by Anthony Burgess, and now I'm reading "SHOGUN" by James Clavell, if only because my parents named me after the main female character--MARIKO. No, I'm not Japanese... :( MV's Quote of the Month "All of us are in the gutter, only some of us are looking at the stars..." -- Oscar Wilde. Probably my quote of a lifetime, actually. | |||||||||
