That was the disgruntled noise a sleek, beautiful, but unfortunately antisocial cat just made, jumping up onto the nest above her scratching post, from which she lords over her domain. Right now she's staring out the window, probably wishing she could be outside on this cold, foggy west coast Canadian morning. That's my cat, Umay. She's a siamese tabby, brown and grey and cream and gorgeous. She likes to let everyone know what she's doing, and how upset she is that she is doing it. Umay lives a life of warmth, comfort and expensive cat food, and complains through every second of it. That's okay, though. I love her anyway. My name is Rowan, and I'm sixteen. I'm a big city girl, in a small town; secretly hating every second of it. Adjusting is hard. I'm a blue eyed blond; that is, I like to pretend I am. I dye my hair one in a... not often enough, so can generally be found with bright red roots. I'm no platinum skank, though - my hair's about three inches long at the longest part, and under an inch at the shortest. Besides... platinum skank? That's unrealistic. If the hot jock who sleeps around and is a general ass as another side, why can't that blond slut with the dagger nails and high-heel shoes have one too?
