I am a college student currently attending Spartanburg Methodist College in South Carolina. During high school, I took Creative Writing twice, getting the Creative Writing Award for the Class of '07 upon graduating. I also took Honors English classes from 8th grade all the way to 12th grade, though I did not take AP English simply because I thought it might be a good idea to have a class to fall on if my grades in other classes during college weren't too good (like math). I passed English Composition 101 my first semester of college with and A, as well as my World Religions class, and am currently taking English Composition 102 and Creative Writing. Just recently, I received 2nd place in the SMC Literary Magazine Illusions.
I spend much of my spare time, when I have it, writing fiction, but I also write poetry when the inspiration comes to me. I much prefer fiction and really can't stand to write non-fiction, though I rather enjoy the non-fiction works of others. I also like to edit others work upon request.
NOTE: Just so you know, my user name ,Butterfly-Kami, comes from the drummer Kami of Malice Mizer. In my opinion, he was the greatest drummer of the Visual Kei era in Japan. He passed away on June 21st, 1999 at the age of 26. It was said that he had a great love for butterflies, hence Butterfly-Kami. His picture is my avatar.
