Author has written 7 stories for Historical, Fable, General, Fantasy, and Essay. I'm Sara -- Saroo_Aloo, whatever. I'm 17, somewhat too sarcastic at times (I realize there are too many sarcastic teenage girls out there already, but I've got a fair start on a large number of them), artist/writer/reader/waster of time. I'm picky with what I read--it's hard to force the cheesiness down. Therefore not only am I a nitpicky reader--but writer, too. This results in much procrastination. One day I'm going to finish something. Check out my favorite stories list, however, my nitpickiness has led to a fair selection of works to read. :) Updates: 11/23/08 Chapter One of The Wielding is posted. I changed from 1st to 2nd POV. So sue me. 11/22/08 The Wielding: Haha! I've finally starting working on a new story. One which I intend to pursue. So I've written out pretty much the entire plot (this is extremely new for me, because I normally just go with a vague idea and burn out around chapter two.) This way, I am totally prepared. Almost... anyway. Okay. So the summary sucks and I wanted to give a general idea on here for anyone who's interested. Basically The Wielding is a story about a girl, Risandri Salyar, a street thief and pickpocket who's family is murdered by the King's men in an attempt to discover information about an resistance ring leader known as the Master of Wielders. The King dies and the country is plunged into a civil war. It's during this season of instability in the Kingdom that the story picks up, opening in a scene where Ris' best and pretty much only friend, Crispin, is being hung for a crime he didn't commit. And that's all I'm going to say. Because it's already giving away a lot of information I haven't uploaded yet. Peace out, -Saroo-Aloo | |||||||||
