Hello everyone. Here are some things you should know about me (or at least I think so, which might not account for much but what the hey? right?)

-I'm 18 and a college freshman. Writing is pretty much my life but I have trouble fitting it into my schedule at the moment...

-I've been on fanfiction.net for a while.So if you're into that, by all means, please check me out under the pen name PaintMeAntagonist

-My obsessions can be very drastic. My friends say it's a bit scary but I like to blame it on my addictive personality.

I'm done with the whole bullet point thing. I'm just going to write. I love to write. I have been since as long as I can remember. However, I tend to suffer positively horrible writer's block.

My hobbies are simple...kinda...aside from writing I love to read, play my musical instruments, act, do theater work, draw, sing, do poetry slams (which if you are like my mother, which I hope you aren't, means I read poetry in front of people) and write a lot of poetry.

My obsession are...Pirates of the Caribbean, Phantom of the Opera, any work by F.Scott Fitzgerald, manga, many bands (including Marilyn Manson, Nirvana, the Beatles, the White Stripes, The Sex Pistols, etc), history (I adore it. In fact, I can never write historical stories because I get so caught up in the history...okay I sound kinda lame... so this is where I stop), vampires (they are the perfect outlet for my creativity- I can make them evil, misunderstood, and I can even use them as a parallel between fantasy and humankind), and reading (I read pretty much anything that doesn't make me fall asleep).

I hope you like my work and while I appreciate advice (value it like treasure) I ask that you be kind to a degree...please (I'm fairly sensitive, anything but positive and constructive criticism makes me sad and dampers my writing). On a side note, I realize I have become prey to my spell-check and I miss it greatly so this is all I will write in this profile...for now.

Stories

The Reflection (Previously A Single Rose at Midnight): The story of Inea, a girl who comes face to face with a brutal vampire as a child. Years later, as a woman, she encounters him again and she is forced to make difficult decisions she never wanted to make. She struggles against him, against lies told to her throughout her life, and her growing love for him...her mother's murderer.

I apologize for taking so long to get this up. I have been dealing with a fair number of personal troubles as of late and haven't had the energy to write this story though I've never stopped thinking of it.

Dead Deal Diary: A diary like none other. It follows the life and feelings of a teenage girl suffering from some very debilitating insecurities and disorders. The key is that it is mostly from an outsider's view. The entries are fairly short but I think that when combined they make it worthwhile. Each chapter will contain a week's worth of diary entries. This story is very personal to me. I've haven't gotten past day 25 yet. I can tell you why. This is roughly the equivalent of my diary reworked. I'm posting it as a sort of healing project. I think I need to.

Redemption: My first love and only truly bared vampire story. This is the first time I've written my heart and soul into a vampire story. It embodies a lot of my feelings toward humanity and my own philosophies. I've been debating on whether or not to share it (especially as it's unfinished and going through a sixth revision as I type this) but I'd like feedback on it so I can close the chapter on this essential part of my life.

Anne: My first serious attempt to write a historical fiction novel. It's on Anne Boleyn, the multi-presented second wife of King Henry the Eighth.
