Kalon is a young insomniac Nerdfighter of the child-bearing gender. She is American, but often uses British spelling and words because of her obsession with reading HP fanfiction. She has no idea what she wants to do with her life, except that she would someday like to travel the world. Also, she apparently likes to talk about herself in third person.
Kalon enjoys reading, traveling, writing, drawing, knitting, and guitar-playing (even though she does the last four things rather poorly), and obsesses over Hugh Laurie, Doctor Who, Mr. Spock, Harry Potter, and various other things labeled "geeky". She also considers things such as the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Flight of the Conchords, XKCD, Monty Python, and the Mighty Boosh to be pure genius. She is, however, of questionable sanity.
Kalon is incredibly indecisive, being agnostic, politically moderate, and bisexual (or pansexual/omnisexual). She is smart, geeky, and has no talents or skills whatsoever. Her sense of humour is sometimes sarcastic and sometimes silly, depending on her mood. Although she is introverted and quiet, she is in no way nice and cares mainly about herself (but at least she's honest about it). She considers herself to be more of a realist than a pessimist, and believes that the glass could be either half full or half empty depending on whether the liquid in it was poured into an empty glass or some was poured out of a full glass. She spends an embarrassingly large amount of time pondering such unimportant matters.
