Hopefully, my writings can be that "something" for you. I write a ton of poetry for self-expression, but when it also reaches out to you guys, that's even better. And I always love having an audience. Each and every one of you out here on fictionpress is a rare type of person. You are openminded enough to hear what others have to say, bold enough to share your own writing, creative enough to think your own thoughts. My name is Katy Renee - I often sign letters and emails "forever & always" so my pen name sprouted from that. I love poetry, city skylines, the color red, distance running, spirited debates, Starbucks coffee, painting, books by Jodi Picoult, alternative music, and spontaneity. My life is an open book, my emotions are all over the place, my schedule is insane and I have no regrets. I believe in seizing the moment, saying what you think, and going your own way.
