Author has written 15 stories for Love, Life, Religion, Family, and Fantasy. Hey! I'm Akasha. And this site is full of songs and poems that I've spent a lot of time working on. It's pretty much like the ''edited'' version of my journal. I started writing some of these poems a year or two ago. But before now, I wasn't able to relate to any of them. For example, a few years ago, I didn't know what love was! I'd never experienced that feeling within you when your heart starts beating a billion times faster than any person's heart should. And I'd never had that split second in which your stomach feels like it dropped out of you. And I'd also never had that time when your with the perfect guy and you felt like there was nowhere else in the world you wanted to be. So I guess you could say that I was pretty much just writing about stuff I saw on TV. But now that I have had those experiences and can relate to these poems, it is much, much easier to write them.
I've been writing songs for as long as I can remember. Songs are my favorite thing to write! For those of you who know me, you know that music plays an enormous part in my life for 2 main reasons: 1) You need music to dance. And 2) You need music to sing...and those are pretty much it. My cousin Jenna was actually the person who got me interested in the whole song writing thing. She's an amazing song writer and I love writing with her.
