Author has written 7 stories for General, and Life. This is the site of a new online literary magazine known as "The Prismatic View." Issues will be released about once every week, featuring both stories and poetry from various authors. The whole idea about this lit mag is the diversity and scope of the imagination--how one idea can spark many different stories, just as one prism can create many different colors, hence The Prismatic View. For each issue, I give all the writers--poetry and short story--the same basic theme to write about. The end result displays the many different ways people can regard one thing, based on their different writing styles, preferences, experiences, etc. For future issues and/or if you want to write for more than one issue, you can fill out and post the application at the site linked above. Everyone who submits an application will be given an assignment for every issue--whether or not they do it that time around is up to them. Also, before publishing your pieces, I will be sure to edit them as need be, and will see if any revisions need be made. Any big revisions will not be changed by me without the author's consent. All work published here is copyright of the author noted on each piece. Also, feel free to leave feedback/critique as you would any other piece on fictionpress. Maybe let us know what you think of the magazine or if you have any theme suggestions. I do try to choose themes that can fit in any style/genre. --Editor | |||||
