Author has written 9 stories for Mystery, Young Adult, Horror, Friendship, Supernatural, and General.

Info about my stories: First things first, I gladly accept any reviews, whether they be constructive criticism or praise-whichever one you think will help me out with writing more. Just a couple things to expect when reading some of my work...

-I DO NOT accept flames, all right? I come to this site and submit work to recieve criticism, praise and tips, NOT TO BE INSULTED. Any flames will not only motivate me to refuse to read ANY of your work, but I will also ignore anything you send me in the future. So even if you've written an apology or something like that, I still won't read it once I notice it's from you, therefore I'll never know you apologized.

-All my stories are outlined from before the first chapter even appears on this site. Basically, do NOT give me any tips or ideas that would change the plot or the characters. You'll only be wasting your time, because nothing you say will make me change my mind about what I planned. People need to realize that the easiest way (simply writing without any idea where the plot is going) isn't always the best way.

-Pretty much every story I write will follow the "Review mine, I'll review yours" policy. (at least while I'm still working on said story) But the reviews I give yours are proportional to the ones you give mine. For instance, if you give me a balanced, helpful review that points out good and bad things, you can expect the same type of review from me. If you just say something like "Great! I love it!" then don't expect me to send you anything too much better.

CURRENT STORIES

Camp Glaregon (Saturday, January 6, 2007 - Wednesday, February 21, 2007)
Ross, a typical teenager, wins his class a trip to a summer camp called Camp Glaregon. But this is no ordinary camp; this camp has a dark secret, and after accidentally uncovering that secret, Ross and his friend Mike are on another adventure where the seconds on the clock are ticking. Failing to reach a solution to the camp's dark history could cost everyone their lives.

TRIVIA:

-This story has already been written twice (once for the first time in August 2004, and the first published draft was on fanfiction.net in October 2005)
-The ending was changed from the first and second version (And then changed again two nights before the final chapter was posted)
-Most of the chapters are very similar to the way they were on fanfiction.net, but with more description and a few added parts.
-This story started the tradition of the obligatory references to select Tales of... games.
-This was the first story where I outlined the whole thing before I got to work on writing it
-Is the sixteenth Ross and Mike story
-This is the first and only story where Ross and Mike are depicted as fourteen-year olds.
-When it was written, this was undoubtedly the greatest story I had ever written
-Almost three times as successful (review-wise) than the fanfiction version

Under The Bed
(Wednesday, January 31, 2007)
In what will probably be my only one-shot for a while (hopefully ever) a girl named Megan is constantly tormented at night by the thought that there could be a monster residing in her bedroom at night. Her mom and brother insist it's all her imagination. But is it?...

TRIVIA:
-This idea came to me in bed one night. (But the plot doesn't come from my own experience)
-Under the Bed is one of the only stories I've written where the main character is a girl.
-Was put up a week later the planned

What Would Have Been Your Seventeenth
(Saturday, March 10, 2007)
Yes, it's a poem, can you believe it? Anyway, on March 10, 2007, a friend of mine from long ago would have turned 17 years old, but he didn't live to see the day. What Would Have Been Your Seventeenth is a poem to remember him. Read the poem to learn the whole story of what happened and how I found out.

TRIVIA:
-Was done the afternoon before it was posted
-Inspired by another fictionpress writer who wrote a poem to remember a dead friend (What luck I saw it two days before my deceased freind's birthday!)

Strong to Save
(Wednesday, March 21, 2007 - Friday, April 27, 2007)
A huge storm hits an ocean cruise liner, killing all the adults on board. Two kids, Evan and Shannon, the oldest survivors of the crash, have to keep the other survivors' spirits up while they try to find a way to get back home. And that's where the trouble starts...

TRIVIA:

-Started the tradition of including subtle references and cameos to my own works in it
-Was originally going to be called "Lost at Sea", but was changed at the last minute to something more symbolic. "Lost at Sea" instead became the name of the first chapter
-Ended up being two chapters longer than anticipated
-Was finished being written weeks before the final chapter was posted
-Was the first serious attempt at writing something new on fictionpress

Before It's Too Late
(Friday, May 4, 2007 - Wednesday, July 18, 2007)
Nineteen year-old hitman Tom Renald from a far off world is making it through life simply by killing other people. He planned on living his life that same way until he was either too old to keep it up or until he was caught on the job...or worse. But that all changes when he gets hired by a client with much bigger plans. Renald soon finds himself caught in the middle of a huge situation, and what comes of it goes beyond anything he's ever dreamed of.

TRIVIA:
-First major story to be written that WASN'T centered in on Ross and Mike
-Started the tradition of the reoccuring mayor who fumbles over every single word in a sentence
-First time I tried to really develop characters AND implement their development
-Took much longer to plan and outline than originally anticipated
-Started the idea of chapters being at least 3,000 words long rather than 2,000.
-First time a character met a character making a cameo face-to-face

Everlasting (Saturday, June 30, 2007 - Tuesday, September 25, 2007)
Ross and Mike finally think their adventures have come to an end and now they can just sit back and enjoy the rest of life and school. But after Ross finds a claw on the beach that bears a striking resemblance to a monster he knows all too well, Ross is worried that maybe everything isn't over. Ross and Mike are soon forced to revisit their old adventures and eventually finish what they thought was already completed, with more at stake than ever before.

TRIVIA:
-Is the twentieth separate Ross and Mike story
-First time a multi-chapter story was put up during the same time as another multi-chapter story on fictionpress
-Was initially going to be a completely separate story that could make it on its own, but it was eventually decided to try to tie past stories together and make it one larger story.
-Is the first story I've written where a music group was referenced
-Was the longest story I had ever written when completed
-Last story to be written under the pen name "Velkan the Impaler"
-Is the final Ross and Mike story to be written
-Was completed around the sixth anniversary of the start of the Ross and Mike series
-Originally intended to be a two-part story, with part two going up on the site several months later

The Night Shift (Wednesday, October 24, 2007 - Tuesday, February 19, 2008)
Eighteen-year old Collin Bansen gets a job at Arbur Winslow State Forest, being the first person to apply for a job there ever since the unsolved murder happened there a year before. It's obvious to all the other employees he just wants to figure out what went down a year ago, but no one knowswhy he's so bent on figuring it out, nor did they expect how capable he really was at solving it.

TRIVIA:

-Is the first story to be written on FP inspired almost entirely by a video game
-Slowest story in terms of length proportional to production
-Was one chapter longer than anticipated
-Originally it was going to be up to the reviewers to decide the outcome of the story, but I later changed it and stuck with the "happier" ending
-Was launched the day the third entry in the video game series this was inspired by was released in the U.S.; this story was concluded the day the fourth entry was released in the U.S.

Strong to Save II (Friday, March 21, 2008 - Thursday, May 29, 2008)
Pat is made the leader of the crew of the lost cruise ship, being one of the oldest kids still alive on board. Now he's trying to fix the mistakes his predecessors made while keeping everyone else's spirits up. But how can he? The ship's running out of fuel, food is going bad and everyone is losing hope and motivation to get rescued. Can Pat keep everything stable on the ship for just a little longer until aid finally arrives and prevent any more casualties?...

TRIVIA:
-Is the first story I've put on Fictionpress that was a direct sequel to another one already up on the site
-Didn't officially decide to write this until I watched a certain Youtube video...
-Was intentionally posted EXACTLY a year after the first one was
-My first story on FP to ultimately have few chapters than originally planned

Nice Place to be Lost (Friday, August 22, 2008 - )
Paul is a new student at Merines High School out in Kansas. His classmates soon befriend him, but they can't get him to talk about where he came from or what his past was like, and everyone is puzzled as to why he always wears a pair of high-tech green goggles. When identities become unmasked, Paul and his new friends will find themselves caught in a situation none of them could have imagined.

TRIVIA:
-The concept of the protagonist was originally planned to be more of an antagonist
-Spent several days after first being written as untitled
-Is my first story to try to thrown in more than one subplot
-Eventually given a similar name to an episode of the Twilight Zone when the story was days from launching and it still didn't have a title.
