I also happen to be an outrageously enthusiastic drama nerd, so I am frequently too busy. Sorry in advance, because I know I leave you hanging off cliffs for weeks on end. Posting Plan: I intend to finish posting Mutant Chronicles, all the way through Part 9, and after that I shall begin work on posting the Strange cycle. 10-21-09 THUNDERHEAD CHAPTER 2 POSTED! 8-19-09 THUNDERHEAD CHAPTER 1 POSTED! THE MUTANT CHRONICLES- ~We were not meant to be gods.~ This is my epic masterpiece, based off of my friends and I. I have thus far written the entire thing on paper and am laboring diligently to post it online for you, ravid readers. Basically, I love this story and it loves me. But it also happens to be my first real story ever, so the beginning is a little...well...cheesy. But if you keep reading, you'll see how I've grown and the story has also, many thanks to the reviewers. So...don't give up right away. ORIGINAL TRILOGY Part 1 - Dear Diary - The first epic of The Mutant Chronicles, beginning the long and terrible journey of several students given remarkable powers and hunted because of who and what they are. Part 2 - The Spiral Effect - The scattered members of the mutant band must find each other and stay alive while the world wages war for their possesion. As they try to retain their already jeopordized freedom, a new ally will enter their ranks... Part 3 - Final Genesis - After a traumatic encounter and five years go by, the members of the mutant group must band together once again to face their greatest enemies. Surrounded by lies and mystery, will they ever get a home to call their own?... NEXT GENERATION Part 4 - Next Generation: The Crystal Dilemma - When the daughter of two mutants escapes to earth, the mutants must break the law and retrieve her, risking themselves and others. But earth is not as mutant-free as it claims to be, and many people will kill to control them... Part 5 - Next Generation: Armageddon - The world is in turmoil. Despite having regained Lilith, a surprising side-effect leaves one of the mutants stranded and powerless. While the others search for him, they are forced to confront an old enemy, and the prophecy's meaning is not yet fully understood... Part 6 - Next Generation: Last Exodus - The mutant family must find a way to return home, but home is not a safe as they might think. As their oldest nemesis returns once again to destroy them once and for all, they must band together...or die. Meanwhile, a new legacy is forming, and a monumental discovery awaits... LEGACY (Extended) Part 7 - Legacy: Forgotten Fugitives - The now larger mutant community is struggling. Raids by the DMC come almost weekly, and remnants of the robot army attack just as often. Together, they are managing to evade these intrusions, but there is a hidden enemy inside the walls... Part 8 - Legacy: The Beta Variable - The genetic reason for mutation has been discovered, and the world is in chaos! A shadowy man called Kriffner proposes a serum which will mutate humans at an unprecedented scale. To stop him, the mutants must venture into the heart of darkness, the DMC... Part 9 - Legacy: Thunderhead - Prophecy and mutant-kind collide, causing widespread death and mayhem. The mutant community must band together to face a monstrous evil stronger than anything they've faced before. With traps at every turn, will the mutants survive this final battle? Status: Posting WHAT'S NEXT? This GLORIOUS new series I've cooked up has much more potential than I originally anticipated. Thus, it will accordingly be very long. I admit, this concept is one of my more complex ones, but I love it just the same. It begins with: House of Strange - A boy discovers he is from a parallel reality where ideas are people and good and evil are in eternal war. Will he chose to go through the Rift and fight for good or stay in our world to battle the present evil? Status: Pre-production now complete And the sequel to that, Return to Strange - Trawe saved the House from evil once, but when he returns, he finds the Balance lost and the House in turmoil. Allies are enemies and enemies, friends. Working with old friends and new, can he bring the Balance back to right? Status: Pre-production in progress POETRY Yes, I do occasionally dabble my hand in poetry. Whenever I do, the results are mixed. If you enjoy it, that's your opinion. The styles I use are varied, but include pantoums, sestinas, and other repeating forms. Topics generally include absurdist philosophy, world contemplation, and continuous thought patterns. | |||||||
