Author has written 10 stories for General, General, Young Adult, Sci-Fi, Mystery, Romance, and Fantasy. If you are here to review one of my stories because you have been forced by your review return policy, don't worry! I'm sure you'll like one of my oneshots. I'd suggest The Piano Girl, since people seem to like it. Thank you! Me in a Nutshell If I could give you a “dark look” over the internet, that’s exactly what I’d be doing. I am willing to be anyone’s friend, because I know how terrifying it is to be alone and I refuse to wish that on anyone else. I am also willing to warn you: I am not reliable. Let me make this perfectly clear. I am a slippery devil. I’m going to try to fool you into thinking otherwise. Proceed with caution. Generic Apology I want you, yeah you, to know that if you’re expecting something from me, I know I’m making you wait. And I’m thankful that you’re patient enough not to make me feel guilty about it. I haven’t forgotten about you. I want you to know you’re awesome and I don’t know what I did to deserve you. (The same goes to two wonderful writers whose stories I wanted to see more of, and yet I forgot to bookmark those stories, and I looked for them, and I couldn’t find them.) I hope one day I can offer something more than a thank you to each of you. The Vigilant To people who have not read but are thinking about it: Are you nuts?! It's eighty-frickin'-thousand words! Okay, okay, I'm not here to scare you away. I'm here to tell you what that teensy little summary can't. The Vigilant takes place on modern-day Earth, so you won't need to know how many parsecs it takes to get to Gliese 581d. It's told mostly by kids using the first person, ranging in age from thirteen to twenty. The story is about trying and sometimes failing to keep their friends and family safe. They've got no clue what they're up against, and like the kid in your math class who sasses the teacher and fails all the tests, my characters hate what they can't understand. To people who are wondering where I disapeared to: Hello, I'm back again (sort of). I've tried putting off this one scene because it's been giving me so much trouble, but now I have to write it. And I don't know how. Psychological blocks are weird like that, you know? And I'm doubly sorry for leaving you with a cliffhanger! If I haven't gotten over this by the seventeenth, I'll just write a summary of the scene so I can post the rest of the chapter. UPDATE: I'm writing again! Commence happy dance! The block has been thwarted for now, so I think I'll have another chapter for you in time for Thanksgiving. (That's on the 26th of November, for those of you who don't celebrate it.) See you soon! Stories …Readers, I will always let you down in this area. On a more specific topic: If a story you’ve been reading gathers dust and you’d like to know what I have in store for it, just drop me a Private Message. Once I make the time, I’ll be glad to talk. Please note that I’m usually not this hostile. :) (See the little emoticon? That would fall under the “slippery devil who is trying to fool you” category.) That’s all, really. | |||||
