But then he meets Demi, a strange spirit in the body of a dead kitten. She convinces him to join her in her quest to find the mysterious Grandmother, who can grant any wish once she is found. Can they make it, when they have a dragon and a mournful spectre in their way...and a mysterious hunter shadowing every footstep? Who is Demi, anyway? Likes: An unhinged love interest. Original plot, characters, and unexpected twists. A shaky, indecisive main character (doesn't necessarily have to be the protagonist) that slowly becomes confident as the story grows.
Dislikes: A cheesy and totally oblivious protagonist. Mary-Sues & Larry-Stues.
