Jordan A. Masters has loved writing since she was very young. From the moment she first put pen to paper, she has tried to improve her craft any way she could. Her typical day includes finishing the crossword puzzle of her local newspaper, reading several pages from the dictionary, and challenging her friends to games of Assassin's Creed, the Mass Effect trilogy, and Minecraft. She draws inspiration from other novelists (J. K. Rowling, Charles Dickens, J. R. R. Tolkien, Laura Van Wormer), music, and even her everyday life. Jordan is currently working on Panic, the story of a young girl struggling to find herself in the wake of personal tragedy.

Each November, Jordan participates in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), a month-long writing challenge. The premise of the challenge is to write a 50,000 word novel within the 30 days of November. This page has a plethora of wonderful information about the challenge as well.
