Hello. I am the Crystal Cavalier. I suppose I should give you a little about me. Okay then...

Name: Crystal Cavalier

Real Name: sha'an't say =P

Age: 18 but shh!- don't tell anybody!

Gender: female. Definitely female.

Interests: it tends to vary from month to month. But pretty and intriguing poetry will always keep me hooked. Haiku is a new interest of mine, as I find long stodgy and overly-metaphoric poems are a bit off-putting lately (not to mention I don't have time to decode them all). Simplicity is haiku's greatest appeal, as greater fans than I have known for so much longer. Anyway, I've begun writing some haiku, the first of which I've put up, in the hopes of some feedback or encouragement.

Pet-peeves: I don't know if I'd call myself a Grammar Nazi, but things like using the wrong 'their'/'there'/'they're' irks me to no end. Therefore, if you see it in any of my work, please point it out. I will promptly bash my head in, then fix my mistake =D

Beside grammar, simple spelling mistake are annoying, but we all get things wrong (I am terrible for typos) so I'm a little more forgiving. Beyond that I can't think of anything else, although there are more!

Anyway, that's all for now. Feel free to browse through what I have posted below. I know it's a little sparse at the moment, but I'm hoping to fix that soon enough =)

Oh, and one last point. Some may notice that the poem 'Bullied' is the same as naioka1992's. This is the same account, and the same author. I'd neglected FP for a long time, and had done a lot of growing up in the meantime. When I returned I wanted a fresh start, and cleared out much of my old work. 'Bullied' is the only survivor at present. This is not a copy, a repost or a theft. Thank you.
