--Arirang, a Korean folk song about some girl whose lover left her and in the song, she hopes that he breaks her leg so he has to come back to her. I swear Korean women are capable of such curses.

To my utter disbelief, I posted something after a very long time of avoiding FP for my own sanity. Like I promised in its A/N, here is a sort-of-full summary.

Prophet

A life of misfortunes. Born mute, with her parents dead, and learning to cope as slave girl of a brutal foreign general, Cara has all but given up. But hope always comes in unexpected ways. And what could she possibly have to do the Society of Prophets, which has guarded secrets for so long even some of its members have forgotten what they are?

A story of survival, death, and love. Hopefully not as disappointing as its summary makes it sound.
