Author has written 12 stories for General, and Fantasy. Hey, I am Shaitanah. I've been writing stories since early childhood. I'd say that my preferable genre is general. Mostly because it combines all other genres. I usually pick that category for my own stories. It might seem that it's a rather faceless genre; however, what I love about it is a combination of romance, slice of life, poetry and fantasy - and all that can be blended into a healthy mix that would make a general story. I love SLASH. Moreover, I read and write slash. So, if you're offended by it, we have different ways. Sorry. Favourite books/writers: The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, Dune by Frank Herbert (esp. the first 4 parts), Jonathan Strange and Mister Norrell by Susanna Clark, The Line of Beauty by Allan Hollinghurst, The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, anything by J.D. Salinger, The Temple of the Golden Pavilion by Mishima Yukio, Stardust by Neil Geiman; anything by Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, the Beat Generation, poetry by Pablo Neruda, Richard Siken, etc. Favourite films: Velvet Goldmine, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter (Parts 2 and 4), Equilibrium, Underworld, Matrix (esp. Part 1), Star Wars, Titanic, Serendipity, Stardust, Fly Away Home, Pride and Prejudice, Star Trek, etc. Favourite TV-shows: Prison Break, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Angel, Torchwood, Life on Mars, House M.D., The X-Files, ER, Charmed, The 4400, Lost, Heroes, Skins (seasons 1 and 2), Dexter, Merlin, T:SCC, Six Feet Under, etc. Favourite anime/manga: Naruto, Death Note, 666 Satan, Undergrand Hotel, Yami no Matsuei, Last Exile, Hellsing (tv-series), Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Ai no Kusabi, Our Road of No Return, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Final Fantasy VII: Last Order, Totoro, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, etc. Favourite music: Muse, Placebo, 30 Seconds To Mars, Radiohead, The 69 Eyes, My Chemical Romance, Tom McRae, Damien Rice, Thea Gilmore, etc. The complete list would be very long, I'm afraid.
