Author has written 5 stories for Fantasy, Nature, and Friendship. Hello, my name is Leah and this is my first time here on FictionPress.com I am a senior in high school and have recently considered publishing my poetry and any other short or long original stories, as I would like to try branching off of the fanfiction I currently write, and try to focus on honing my writing skills through my own, original pieces. I have two web pages, one at Fanfiction.net (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/617242/) as well as one at DeviantArt.com (http://quicksilverwitch.deviantart.com/). My Favorite Books/Series Include: The Young Wizard Series by Diane Duane The Abhorsen Trilogy by Garth Nix The Warlock Anthology by Christopher Stasheff The Belgariad and the Malloreon by David and Leigh Eddings The Dragonriders of Pern Series by Anne McCaffrey The Green Man Tales from the Mythic Forest edited by Ellen Datlow and Terri Windling A College of Magics by Caroline Stevermer Midnight Magic by Avi Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood by Rebecca Wells The Once Upon a Time Anthology by Various (including Cameron Dokey, Tracy Lynn, Debbie Viguie, Nancy Holder, and Suzanne Weyn) My Favorite Manga Series: MARS by Fuyumi Soryo Fruits Basket by Natsuki Takaya xxxholic by CLAMP Tsubasa reservoir Chronicle by CLAMP Amazing Agent Luna by Nunzio DeFilippis and Christina Weir (art by the lovely Shiei!) Her Majesty's Dog by Mick Takeuchi Tarot Cafe by Sang-Sun Parkand Jung-Su Kim My Favorite Movies The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Monty Python's The Meaning of Life The Count of Monte Cristo Star Wars (episodes IV, V, and VI; I-III were okay, but...) Young Frankenstein History of the World, Part I Blazing Saddles The Producers (original with Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel; media Kings!) South Park the Movie: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut Alien: Ressurection True Lies Shakespeare in Love Dogma Under the Tuscan Sun Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood and other assorted films that range between comedy, horror, mystery, and romance As you can see I am a very avid reader, whether it is a graphics novel or an actual written piece of work. However, even if I do read the majority of my day, I am in no way the most superp writer in the known universe, and, as such, will not be averse to constructive criticism...and just so you know, all flames will be used to make smores or just explode marshmallows. Happy reading! | |||||||||
