Author has written 2 stories for Young Adult, and Love.

Hey. Well, I'm Suffering Beauty, but you can call me Lindsay. I am currently 15 years old. I'm a freshman in high school, a drama dork, chorus queer, and I have a sock fetish. You probably didn't need to know that last bit, but it's true. I love socks. So anyway, I love to write, and I am currently working on two stories right now. I have the first two chapters of one finished and ready to go, and am working on the first chapter of the second one, which I think is much better. I have a variety of poems saved on my computer, it's just a matter of finding them. As I do, I will put them up.

But anyway, here's something I really like to do. I love acting. I want to get into television and movies, as soon as I get the time. My parents just went through a divorce, and we just moved the other day, so it's not really possible right now. But it's something I really love. I've been in a few commercials already, although they were small time and you probably haven't seen any of them. I think that's why I'm a good writer, since I can really get into character and get into their heads. Or maybe writing is why I am such a good actress. At least, that's what I've been told. At drama, everyone was mad that I didn't get a part, so apparently, I did really good. But freshmen don't get parts, according to the upperclassmen.

Another thing I really want to do when I get older is to get into Astronomy. When I was a little girl, I was obsessed with the show Sailor Moon (I have many old fan fictions of that show), and I think that's how it started. Mythology and Astronomy are really interesting to me, and I think space is so awesome that I really want to know more about it. I research it all the time, and I recently did a paper on the New Horizons Mission, where NASA sent a space probe out to Pluto, and it will travel into the Kuiper Belt afterwards. And since Pluto is no longer a planet (damn those NASA nerds), they are going to study it and such. I thought it was so cool that I spend seven hours just doing the research. There really isn't much information on it, either, since it just launched this year.

But yeah, I am really into Mythology. Mainly Greek and Roman Mythology, but I also know a lot about Japanese, Chinese, Celtic, etc. Religion also catches my interest, but I kind of associate that with Mythology. I want to take the Mythology class at my high school next year as a sophomore, and I am so excited about it. Heh, I wonder what I'll be when I get older.

Hmm...I don't know what else to say about myself. I love to associate mythology into my stories in some way or another. I make all of my characters' names meaningful. Well, mostly. Princess Lianne Alexandra Noella Colette Heero is just a bunch of names I liked. Lyndsi is a variation of my own name, and all the characters in her story are real people. But in my other works, they all mean something. So, that's all for now. I'll update later.

Okay, so I'm reading a new, most awesome book. It's called Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. It's about a girl, Isabella (Bella for short), who moves to a small town up north, Forks, Washington, in the United States. There, as a seventeen-year-old, she attends the local high school, which has only about 300 or so students. She meets Edward Cullen, a boy who immediately captures her attention. Along with his family, he is antisocial, quiet, and very smart. Oh, and he's the most beautiful creature she's ever seen. When he saves her life, they become closer and closer, but something is holding Edward back-the fact that he's a vampire.

I have just finished it, and it's simply one of the best books I have ever sunken my nose into. I made my dad go out and buy it, since there was a waiting list at the library, and I just couldn't possible wait any longer for it. I'm very glad that I bought it, and I can't wait to start on the sequal. Ms. Meyer is currently writing the third book, and MTV, Paramount Pictures, and some other studios, are thinking of making the movie out of Twilight. I am so excited! Be sure to read the book before the movie comes out!!

Stories

((Still Unnamed))- I am currently working on a new story. I have decided to discontinue the ones I mentioned above. I lost interest, and I think my new one is better. I've got the summary written, and I'm still developing the characters, but I have a good feeling about this. I came up with some really cool names, like Nodin, Pyralis, Maylin, and Xantara. My four main characters, whose names are really Seth, William, Sayuri, and Isabella. I won't give much away yet, but I have yet to start the first chapter. I can't wait to start it. It starts off in Avalon, California, on the small Catalina Island. I'm writing it while listening to Change Your Mind by All American Rejects. I swear it will be good!!

The peaceful world of Kyril was never troubled when the four families ruled. But when the threat of a new race enters their planet, the four ruling families are defenseless. Their only chance of survival is to send the heirs away, to build a resistance and call them when needed. Four heirs were sent to Earth, never meant to find each other. But does destiny have a different plan in mind?

Present day Earth, 2007 A.D. The life of Seth Adams was perfect. Avalon High School in Avalon, California, the only city on Catalina Island, was his domain, and he was the cream of the crop. The varsity quarterback and the most popular guy in school, it seemed like his life was perfect. But then, he falls in love with the girl in his science class, the loner who daydreams the whole class and still manages to get an A+. When he finds that they are pulled together by a force beyond his control, he finds a past he never would have imagined. He meets two others, William and Isabella, who meet the same fate, and together they must regain what is rightfully theirs. Their tale is a tragic one, and it lives on in the hearts of their people. Can they save their world from utter destruction? Or is the prophecy right?
