hey. i'm ari. i like to read and write. i also like doing stuff with my friends. and tv, movies, chocolate and my two cats. i like mainly femslash stuff, so be warned before reading, and don't flame. i also write other random stuff. i'm an annoying environmentalist, which means i yell at my friends to stop wasting stuff, unplug everything after i turn it off (it still takes power if it's plugged in!) go to rallies, have breakdowns after watching an inconvenient truth, etc. i love chemistry and physics.
random stuff about me:
books: i like mostly mysteries and creepy psychological books. i love ruth rendell/barbara vine, and agatha christie. the book i'm currently obsessed with is never let me go, by kazou ishiguro. i also like pretty much anything else.
movies: i like a lot of movies. favorites include: the godfather, little miss sunshine, velvet goldmine, ghost world, princess monoke, nausicaa of the valley of the wind, my neighbor totoro, the departed, brokeback mountain and many more.
tv: i like tv. i hardly have time anymore though. i like crime dramas and that kind of thing.
music: i don't listen to a lot. although i am currently obsessed with Placebo. i've also been listening to a lot of david bowie and iggy pop lately.
in case you were wondering, so far as i can tell i'm a lesbian. but i don't think i'll ever be brave enough to come out. but you probably don't care.
i'm a senior at a small, high pressure high school. this means i will probably update only during the rare breaks i have from homework. so not too often. sorry!
i'm in this volunteer group. we do research and put on living history programs in musuems. i'm usually una hawthorne. i'm also a radcliffe student in 1946 in another museum.
ok, i have a problem: i'm really bad w/ computers, so i don't really know what is going on when you upload something. but basically i need to know if i upload something from my computer, will it be easy for my dad to find out? he spends a lot time working on the computers, and i don't want him finding out that i have this account. if someone sees this and can tell me, please send a message. thanks
