I can't remember my name-BUT! I can remember things about myself. My life is nonexistent. I don't do much except write, read, play guitar, and have people look at me with such confounded faces. I started writing in 6th grade, yet years later, I still feel like my writing has remained the same. Oh well. I'm much of a feminist who's got a slight obsession with Virginia Woolf and Mark Z. Danielewski. My entire personality is quite obsessive, actually.
I write for two school newspapers and some of my essays have been published in some sort of literary magazine a few years ago.
Oh and these bands: A Perfect Circle, Alice In Chains, Adam Ant, Beck, Bikini Kill, Bratmobile, Breeders, Bush, Cake, Coldplay, The Cult, The Cure, Dance Hall Crashers, Distillers, Fiona Apple, Franz Ferdinand, Garbage, Heart, Hole, Horrorpops, Institute, Jet, Joydrop, Juliana Hatfield, Kinks, L7, Le Tigre, Mansun, Moby, Nada Surf, Nine Inch Nails (sexy Trent), Nirvana, No Doubt (obsessed...but Gwen just sucks as a solo artist..wasting her voice on cheers about bubbles and bananas), Oleander, Pearl Jam, Pixies (yum), PJ Harvey, Poe (MZD), REM, Raconteurs, Radiohead, Republica, Save Ferris, Shiny Toy Guns, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth, STP, Strokes, Sublime, Tapping The Vein, Tool, Tori Amos, U2, Veruca Salt, Violent Femmes (wooo!), Yeah Yeah Yeahs
And please feel free to remind me of how terrible everything is!
"My own brain is to me the most
unaccountable of machinery - always buzzing, humming, soaring roaring diving,
and then buried in mud. And why? What's this passion for?"
-V. Woolf
"But when the self speaks to the self, who
is speaking? - the entombed soul, the spirit driven in, in, in to the central
catacomb; the self that took the veil and left the world - a coward perhaps,
yet somehow beautiful, as it flits with its lantern restlessly up and down the
dark corridors."
-V. Woolf
