Origin of my PenName

DeepSixing:

It's a really random reason why I chose this name, actually. I had been writing my first fan fiction (it's really bad, don't go looking for it) and I was looking up nautical terms. I came across the word "deep six" which meant "to get rid of." For some reason I found this extremely funny, since I had been "deep sixing" so many of my drafts. So the name DeepSixing was created.

About me

There really isn't much to say about me. I am in high school. I love to write (but usually end up deep sixing things before getting the courage to post them). I also love to draw and play music. I play sports -- tennis and soccer. Ummmm I love to read...feel free to chat with me about Harry Potter. I am one of the biggest nuts you will ever meet.

I love Johnny Depp...but I won't get into that :-)

I have a wide taste in music and movies. I like anything from rap to classical to country, and any movies from The Notebook and Mean Girls to Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Wars.

One of my pet peeves is spelling. If your summary contains bad spelling -- not typos, but obviously misspelled words -- I won't bother to read your story.
