Author has written 17 stories for General, Haiku, Western, Nature, and Life. Hi, Thanks for taking the time to stop by and read my profile. ~~~ I write mostly poetry, haikus being one of my favorite forms. My greatest inspiration is nature, so that is what most of my poems are about. You probably won't find too many short stories, simply because I never seem to finish them. I'm working on a few, though, so hopefully, someday soon, I'll be able to share them with you. I also love reviews, especially those containing constructive critism. Any suggestions on how to improve my writing are more than welcome and highly encouraged. If you like a poem, that's great. If you don't, please tell me why so I can improve it. Enjoy, and thanks to all who review. I'll try my best to return the favor, although I can sometimes be a bit slow at it. Favorite Poets: My favorite poets are Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, William Blake, and Edgar Allan Poe A few of my favorite poems: Wind and Window Flower; October; The Death of the Hired Hand (Robert Frost)-- Annabel Lee; Dream Land; To One in Paradise (Edgar Allan Poe)--Norse Lullaby (Eugene Fields)--The Moon (Emily Dickenson) --On A Dark Road (Robert Herrick)--The Thousandth Man (Rudyard Kipling)--The Tyger; My Pretty Rose-Tree; Jerusalem (William Blake)-- A Noiseless Patient Spider (Walt Witman)--and many, many more... Quotes: "Sucess is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm” -Winston Churchill "The trouble with the rat race is that even if you win, you're still a rat."-Lily Tomeli "Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one." -Albert Einstein "Always do right; this will gratify some people and astonish the rest." -Mark Twain | |||||||||
