I'm back! Sorta...Sorry about the loooong delay, but read the descriptions under the story you're interested in to find out about new updating. I kinda lost interest in the stories, with writing in general actually, for a while there, but I'm out of my funk now and I have a great new story brewing in my head, which I plan on writing out first before I start posting so updates will be consistant with that at least. Anywho, happy summer everyone! Unfortunately, mine's pretty packes, I'm even staying at yale for 3 weeks (anyone going to Explo? Look me up!) so summer doesn't mean more updates necessarily but we're getting there! Sorry again everyone.

Hey! I'm Lanie! Well, that's my pen name anyways, you can never be too careful on the internet y'know. Anywho, I'm a 15 (almost 16) year-old junior at an all girl's school. No, I am not a lesbian, nor am I a desperate, sex-crazed girl thank ya very much. I love acting and writing, both of which I hope I can incorperate into a career at some point. I also love art and photography mostly as side-hobbies. Basically anything creative I love, including music. I'm am such a music geek, and love mostly anything but recently I started listening to a lot of indie / alternative stuff which I really love. And Billy Joel, who rocks and you cannot deny it.
Most of my stories are plotted as I go, which is proving to be difficult updating wise so I've started planning ahead my new stories before I start posting. I apologize cause I usually get really enthusiastic about a story then it kinda tapers off as I lose the plot, but I usually come back to stories so even if I don't updat for a really long time, there's a chance it'll come back. Don't worry, I give notice before I put a story on hiatus or end it, so you know.

Crazy About You: idly being continued
Mel "Don't-call-me-Melanie" Jones had a good life. Until some horrible incident even she refuses to acknowledge turns her whole world upside-down. Sinking into a place her parent's feared, Mel is sent to see a psychiatrist, something she doesn't want to affect her nearly-popular reputation. But one boy just might rattle her world even more, something which the already tired Melanie Jones just does not need right now. What she doesn't know, is Peter Grady might be just what the doctor ordered, pun fully intended
This is probably my most personal story, since the idea stemmed from when I was in a partcularly stressful situation myself, and saw a psychiatrist. It was a two-visit only thing but I relate a lot to Melanie, I feel like she's the most 'real' character I've written. Unfortunately, I've hada bit of a block to where this story is going, but I fully intend to finish it.
The Game of Love: On hiatus in order to be re-vamped
Abby Winters and Nathan Summers were polar opposites, even their names suggested the unfathomable amount of loathing they felt for eachother. Ever since they met eachother, a routine battle had been raging between the two. The seemingly only thing they had in common was the immovable wall each had built around their hearts, for different reasons of course. But once something sets it in motion, love is an unstoppable force, and everyone knows when an unstoppable force meets an immovable one, something has to budge.
I have to say, I got pretty sick of how cliche this was, I didn't understand how this was my most popular story. So I've decided I'm going to rework it until I'mm happy, then I will continue posting, so hold in there =)

Emily Grant was devastaded, or at least that's what her friends told her when her fiance left her for another woman. The fact was, she was surprisingly okay with the whole mess, which translated as denial and shock in their worst forms to her concerned companions. The only cure to which was a relazxing cruise alone to Bermuda, a trip that had been meant for her honeymoon but it would serve the alternative purpose too. What Emily and her firend's had not been counting on was the Bermuda triangle fling Emily back to a time where Pirates, a lot more bloodthirsty than she imagined, roamed the seas, and young Brittish commanders were not as attentive but just as charming as the romance novels Emily frequented described. Before she knows it, her relaxing vacation is twisted into an adventure full of secrets, magic, near-death experiences and another triangle entirely, one much more frightnening. A love triangle. Woooh, long-winded description hehe. I just want you guys to get as excited as I am about this. I just started writing it recently, so once I finish, I'll revise it and start posting.
