I dare someone to find me a fandom/genre that DOESN'T have a vampire story in it. I've a sneaking suspicion it's impossible. I've nothing against a good vampire story, but the good ones appear to be in short suppy.
So, I'm a fifteen year old writer from New Zealand. So much cooler than what I was a few months ago...a fourteen year old writer from New Zealand. Lol
I've submerged myself in fanfiction for practice, but I am attempting to write a ridiculously complicated fantasy novel type thing. I won't be posting any of it here because I'm still world building and am also fierce protective over my baby. I love it so. Heh. Anyway, it's called 'Insanity of Heroes' and is all about exploring the idea that heroes aren't always knights in shining armout. My hero is female, did NOT grow up orphaned on a farm, has NEVER been a damsel in distress (she'd murder me if I even suggested it) and is also incidentally insane. Lots of fun, although I'm writing it in first person so I tend to scare my friends when I'm writing it, because I immerse myself in her character. She likes killingpeople a tad too much - her other name is 'The Red Death'. What can I say? She likes blood.
