Author has written 13 stories for Young Adult, Romance, General, and Fantasy. the name's ana about me i like to lie outside on the astroturf when there's a bite in the wind and not wear my coat. i love to take pictures. i stare at the sky and watch the birds and play soccer and run so the wind will numb me. ice skating is a great joy to me. i like gliding. swimming softly slowly is fun. as long as i don't get too tired. i love fishing. there are moments when i am tranquil if you catch me in one i'll seem out of it almost mellow and high but trust me you haven't seen me at my worst when i laugh i fall off chairs and that's who i am. update: 10/22/09 hi! right now i'm working on a trilogy of stories: Stay, "Pace, smoking," and In Touch. they feature these three characters: Thalia - a shy all-around-good-girl-with-no-particular-talent who finds herself strangely mystified by and attracted to... Pace - an enigmatic, spontaneous, brilliant man-boy who doesn't stick around for anything, ever, and also happens to be the lover of... Mikaere - a Maori immigrant to the US who is also a photography major; he hides behind his lens and simply observes. Stay tells the story of Thalia and Pace's junior year in high school, and how Thalia helps Pace to reveal more of himself in his everyday life. "Pace, smoking" begins in Pace and Mikaere's sophomore year of college as they share an apartment and eventually become lovers. Aside from the newness of loving a man, Mikaere must learn to deal with Pace's nicotine addiction and his own addiction to Pace. (This is the longest of the three stories.) In Touch is in the form of letters from Thalia to Pace, beginning at the end of Stay, and continuing straight into the end of the trilogy. i'm working on them in chronological order story-wise, so right now “Pace, smoking” is occupying my time. i've also got some work done on In Touch, since after Stay i was in the right character POV. and when i have writer's block i don't do anything at all, just try to keep up with school...i'm a first year :) RE: NANOWRIMO NaNoWriMo (National Novel-Writing Month) is coming up really, really soon! i'm probably going to participate, and since the goal of NNWM is to write a 50K word novel by November 30th, i might not have tons of time or inclination to work on anything else... i'll definitely let you guys know if i do it or not.
