Hey y'all, I've been a member of Fanfiction.net for several years now, and well, I FINALLY got off my butt and checked out this site. Usually I don't bother much with original stories written by random people, hell, I can just go out and buy a book and be done with it, but I got desperate for things to read and so finally came here, discovered several brilliant stories and decided to get an account so I can keep track of them. You never know either, I might just post something!

Well, I've gone and done it, I've signed up for NaNoWriMo. Wish me luck come November! On a brighter note, I started an original story which I completely plan on posting up here as soon as it's semi-done That way y'all won't have to wait MONTHS for updates, because really, that's how long it will take because I'm also 1) studying for a degree 2) writing fanfiction, which I already have update obligations towards ahead of this 3) doing art 24/7, go check out my deviant account in my homepage link! and 4) trying to keep track of my social life...

So I've begun a new story. I have written a grand total of...20 pages of it, which for me on an original story is QUITE the record. I really feel like this story could go places. It's my baby. I don't think I'm going to post it on here, unfortunately, but I've decided to put up a running commentary on it anyway because you never know, someone might want to know (probably no one, but oh well). I will say that it's romance/supernatural, but does not include: witches, vampires (undead of any kind really), werewolves, fae/fairies, mermaids, otherworldly creatures, monsters, experiments gone wrong, etc. So what's left you ask? I'm going to let you guess. :P
I'm writing it in first person POV, so I'm hoping I won't get carried away with the inner monologue and focus somewhat on the outside details too. I'm also aiming for mildly humorous, so here's hoping that will succeed as well. I'm writing more and editing almost every day, so I want this one to succeed. My friend tells me it could actually work, so let's hope she's right:)
HOWEVER, I do have other original fictions that I'm working on, and if I ever get round to it those WILL be posted on here, so check back at least once every few months. You never know, I might have put something up. And I'm a decent writer too, I'm proud to say. So no crap will ever be posted here. Yay!
