Hey

Me. Well I'm nineteen, Canadian, and in Biochemistry at Queen's University. I've been writing for as long as I remember; my first story being a rendition of a nightmare about a fire-breathing unicorn. Yeah, don't ask. I'm not sure where that image came from either. Unfortunately, school is absolutely hellish, and when I am not working on schoolwork, I'm learning sailing levels, so I seem to have very little time to write. I am working on another story that I plan to post at some point, hopefully soon, but I need to get a couple more chapters finished first.

I like playing hockey and rugby, doing judo, reading, writing (obviously), watching my TV shows, and listening to random Canadian bands. Favorite genres are sci-fi, and fantasy, though so far I mostly seem to write sci-fi. I also sail on a tallship during the summer.

My favorite book of all time? That's difficult. I absolutely LOVE "Ender's Game", and it's probably one of the books I've read the most often. "The Giver" is another amazing book, along with "The Chrysalids", Roger McBride Allen's "The Depths of Time" trilogy, Mercedes Lackey's "Velgarth" series, and Phillip Pullman's "His Dark Materials" to name a few.

TV, I watch mostly Sci-Fi; The Reimaged Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, The X-Files, Stargate, a few episodes of Star Trek, Alias, The Tudors (which is completely out of my usual genre, but it's pretty good), Xena, and I'm working my way through Buffy.
