Greetings, Hola, Bonjour, the like! Just a bit about me:
Name: I prefer Rayla.
Age: I feel old.
Location: Midwest USA
Likes: Reading, writing, music, thunderstorms, all things Rayman, and good friends who help me to be better. There aren't many things that I LOVE, particularly, but I mould accordingly.
Dislikes: I don't feel like I have many, but if you bother me, I'll let you know.
Other stuff about me: I play bassoon, attend Brigham Young University in Utah (yes, I am Mormon), and love music. It's gonna be my job for life, y'know, I ought to love it. ;D
Now, down to business. A lot of my stories I wrote a couple years ago when I was depressed, but you won't be seeing a lot (if any) of them. A lot of the poems I've written within the last couple years were when I was worried about stuff or just felt like writing a random poem because I could. Some of the more recent stories are shots in the dark, but I'm trying, so don't hate them!
Also, as I'm sure every other writer on the planet has experienced, WE ARE VERY BUSY CREATURES! So if you like what you see, leave a comment to encourage me to get my butt moving on some of this stuff! (I'm more into writing and getting it finished if I'm doing it for someone in mind.)

12/22 - I'm starting a 29 poems project with Officer Jeffery (see favourite authors list) for our birthday. During this time we'll be creating 29 poems about each other (mostly haikus to his request, lol) and then exchange them on July 29th, 2008. After we exchange them, I will post the 29 that I wrote.
3/2 - The story I'm starting to post (called Sentimental Devotion) is the third in a series I've written. I'd post the other two, but they're very old, therefore very badly written and I just don't like them. But I like the third one much better, and I'd like to get some feedback. There may be some gaps (I'm trying my best to fill the holes), but if you're comfused, please let me know! I would be happy to answer your questions. =)
8/5 - College is coming! So I'm on the DL until further notice. Leave reviews if you like what you see, and I'll kick into gear. Happy schooling!
8/26 - Two new characters and a scene popped into my head today, and I've got a rough outline in my head of what I want from them. Stay tuned. Makeshift Destiny is what it'll be called. :)
9/2 - I've been delaying putting up some poems that I wrote for Officer Jeffery, but I will get that up soon. Most likely this weekend.
10/5 - I lied. Sorreh! D: I don't think I'm posting stuff from Officer Jeffery and my poem exchange just because they turned out a lot more deep/personal that I thought they would. So I suppose if I get the urge to post some of the non-chalant ones, I'll put them up. But no flamebashing, because then I'll take them down. My little heart wouldn't be able to take it. :P
