I am mostly a writer of fanfiction, but after hearing about fictionpress.net I decided to give it a whirl and am FINALLY posting things.

The Pines is a try at the epic alternate-universe idea, while Fleur de Lys and doll in the window are both inspired by something that caught my attention. Fleur de Lys because, if you read a little about it, the fleur de lys has been around even in Mycenean - debatedly, Sumerian - culture. It's one of those 'ridde' poems. I find Chinese foot binding fascinatingly hideous, and that's the subject of doll in the window.

I've been writing some original fiction for a while, but mostly I do it for my own entertainment - not at all for others to read (in fact, it's really hard for me to post it). o.o But, after deciding that it would be nice to get some feedback, I did so.

Don't expect any mutli-chaptered work to be finished. o_O I'm afraid my attention span is too short for that. I do love it if you comment, though, because that's basically the only reason I'm posting my stuff here. ;)

Everything I write here is absolutely mine. I'd like it if you didn't take it. If I were ever to become a major author, I wouldn't mind people writing fanfic about my characters - but for the time being, I don't think I'm important enough to (lovingly) steal from. Not like anyone wants to, anyway.
