Author has written 2 stories for General. Be forewarned: This, like the profile of my dear friend Cissy Sollers, is uncharted waters. It is all about my twisted, slightly narssistic(not always), know-it-all-ish(yes, I admit I am a know-it-all. Sue me), complex knot of thoughts, ideas, and voices. You have crossed the line where madness and brilliance collide! About the Author: 1. I'm 5'7". 2. My eyes are usually one of three colours: deep, chocolate brown, amber, or obsidian. 3. I generally write paranormal novels dealing with vampires and at least one other creature. I also read them. If you know any great vampire stories that are not already in my favourites please do not hesitate to PM me with the title of the piece and the author that wrote it, whether it is on this site or an actual published novel. 4. I have gaydar. I can tell if you are bisexual, gay, or straight just by looking at you for five seconds. 5. I have an anxiety disorder known as Obssessive-Compulsive Disorder and frequently fidgit. 6. I was reading and understand William Shakespeare's work in the fourth grade while the other students were still reading Goosebumps and Captain Underpants. 7. I'm slightly crazy. 8. I'm a sucker for a good romance story. If it is real, tell it to me. If it is a novel, let me read it. And if it involves vampires or anything involving forbidden love I definitely want to know about it. 9. I have a wonderful boyfriend who is crazier than me that I love passionately. More about me: Real Name: Take a wild guess. Nicknames: Secerno, Lucia, Sorcha, Zoë, Elizabeth(inside joke), Phoenix, and Amethyst. Occupation: Student/writer Movies: Harry Potter(all), Phantom of the Opera, Pirates of the Caribbean I, II, and III, Rent, Sweeney Todd, both National Treasure movies, all the Indiana Jones movies(including the fourth). Books: Twilight Saga, Phantom of the Opera, Eragon, Eldest, LOTR series, Harry Potter series, The Chronicals of Narnia, Wicked Lovely, Sherrliyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter and Dream-Hunter books Pet peeves: Preps/girly girls(aka Valley Girls), people that think they are better than everyone else, homophobics(people with the fear of Gay people), hypocrits, sexists, racists, people who try correcting people even though they too are wrong and then they won't admit they are wrong, ignorance, immaturity to the point where you are just embarrasing yourself, and the list goes on. Quotes that Amuse Me The following I stole from Cissy Sollers: "Damn conscience. It knows too much." "I don't have pet peeves. I have Major Psychotic Hatreds..." "Some people call me crazy, I prefer the term sanity challenged..." (Love you Cissa) "They say that being different makes you unique... They never tell you that being unique makes you an easy target..." "They say that rain is the tears of angels. However, since angels also cry from happiness, whenever it rains, I always wonder if they're mourning for us, or laughing their asses off at us." "I hate to break it to you, but being a jack ass is not a legitimate career." "I reject your reality and substitute my own!" The following I picked out on my own: "Why are best friends best friends? They know too damn much.". "They say I suffer from insanity. I don't know what they're all talking about because I enjoy every minute of it!" "If you are going to get in trouble, do it right. Don't just do something small. Go big or go home." Quotes That Inspire Me "Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self." ~Cyril Connolly "Close the door. Write with no one looking over your shoulder. Don't try to figure out what other people want to hear from you; figure out what you have to say. It's the one and only thing you have to offer." ~Barbara Kingsolver "Writing is only boring to the people who are boring themselves." ~Unknown "Paper is my canvas, words are my paint, my pen is my brush. Writing is my art." ~Me "I paint a picture, but not on canvas. I draw images, but not in a sketchbook. I shade in the eyes of a young man, but not with a shading pencil. I create beautiful landscapes, but not with paint. These things I do, I do with words." ~Me "You see things the way they are and ask, 'why?' I see things the way they never were and ask, 'why not?'" ~George Bernard Shaw "Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia." ~Octavia Butler "The act of writing requires a constant plunging back into the shadow of the past where time hovers ghostlike." ~Ralph Ellison " If there's a book you really want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it." ~Toni Morrison "If I fall asleep with a pen in my hand, don't remove it-I might be writing in my dreams." ~Danzae Pace "Writing is the best way to talk without getting interrupted." ~Jules Renard "When I was a young boy they called me a liar. Now that I'm all grown up, they call me a writer." ~Isaac Singer "We are all apprentices in a craft where no one ever becomes a master." ~Ernest Hemmingway "You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club." ~Jack London "When the characters are really alive before their author the latter does nothing but follow them in their action." ~Luigi Pirandello "I'm going to keep on writing novels until I learn how." Chet Cunningham "Even in literature and art, no man who bothers with originality will ever be original; whereas if you simply try to tell the truth(without caring two pence how often it has been told before), you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it." ~C.S. Lewis (This is definitely one of my favourites) One last thing before I leave: if you wish to know more about me or my writing you can PM or email me.
