ABOUT THE HACK WRITER

I was born a poor blind child in a log cabin far into the forests of Missouri, where I taught myself to read by examining cereal boxes under candles on cold winter nights (this was rather difficult, seeing as I was blind)...

Well, that's not entirely true. But if I ever write an autobiography, that's definitely going to be the opening. As for the real story... Well, there isn't that much to be said about me. I'm very normal-ish... in an abnormal way. There isn't much in my appearance or demeanor to put me apart from any other fifteen-year-old (although my opinion would be biased, I guess), but at the same time I'm sort of a closet weirdo. If you could slip into my head one day and look around a bit, you'd have to stop at some point and say, "What the hell is up with this person?". But I guess all we writers are like that to some extent, haha. (I hope.)

I like to write (obviously) and also have a number of other obsessive hobbies, such as studying Latin, learning Disney trivia, and naming my pens. I'm also a big anime fan (my current love is Trinity Blood) and I tend to doodle a lot, especially in the margins of my physics notes. Other than that, there isn't too much to be said...

Oh, and I suppose my name is Erin. But it makes me flinch, heh.

Story: In the midst of a number of strange illnesses and disappearances among the serfs, the royal palace of Litstansa is abuzz with rumors of secret plots involving the country's magic-weilding neighbors, the Thorins. When Sophie, a servant to the princess, and her mute friend Takett start poking around in things best left undisturbed, they find themselves shoulder-deep in a dangerous world of magic mixed with backhanded politics.
