I like to write about random things and I like to ramble

I write weird and disturbing things (citizen, ye have been warned), as well as things which may seem hard to understand. I have a tendency to not update, for which I hope you will all forgive me. Most things I write have multiple interpretations. but all of them are right, so tell me what you think they are and I'll love you forever. or at least for a little while...

IM me at shamrocknroll667 for any reason at all...

feel free to tell me what's wrong with what I write. I can't guarantee that I'll change it, but I will take your thoughts into consideration. I actually want to get good at this stuff...

flames keep me warm and winter's coming on...

I will NOT comment you back if you ask for it. don't ask for it and you might be surprised at what you get.

understand these and you may yet come a bit closer to understanding some of my work:

"To absent friends, lost loves, old gods, and the season of mists; and may each and every one of us always give the devil his due." Hob Gadling in Season of Mists, vol. 4 of Sandman

"All around me darkness gathers,

Fading is the sun that shone;

We must speak of other matters:

You can be me when I'm gone

Flowers gathered in the morning,

Afternoon they blossom on;

Still are withered by the evening:

You can be me when I'm gone"

from the Kindly Ones, vol. 9 of Sandman

Turning and turning in the widening gyre

The falcon cannot hear the falconer;

Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;

Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world

The Second Coming by Yeats.

If wishes were fishes, we'd all cast nets.

Gurney Halleck, Dune

My father once told me that respect for the truth comes close to being the basis for all morality. "Something cannot emerge from nothing," he said. This is profound thinking if you understand how unstable "the truth" can be.

Princess Irulan, Dune

Then, as his planet killed him, it occurred to Kynes that his father and all the other scientists were wrong, that the most persistent principles of the universe were accident and error.

Liet Kynes, Dune

What senses do we lack that we cannot see and cannot hear another world all around us?

OCB from Dune

"The mice think they are right, but my cat eats them anyways."

"This is the point, reality is nothing, perception is everything."

Terry Goodkind

Luke: Listen, I can't get involved. I've got work to do. It's not that I like the Empire; I hate it. But there's nothing I can do about it right now... It's all such a long way from here.

Obi-Wan: That's your uncle talking.

Star Wars, Episode 4

enjoy my work and please hit up the authors and stories in my faves. they're there for a reason ;)

much love.

p.s. i hate capital letters in an E. E. Cummings sort of way. (it actually causes me physical pain to capitalize the 'I's in this profile. thank god i wrote this in word which capitalizes for me.)

RIP Ro Jo, 9.16.07

May you find shelter in the palm of the Creator's hand and may the last embrace of the mother welcome you home.
