Coming up!
Why don't you kiss her.(one shot) (maybe...)
(You may recognize the title from the same title song by Jesse mcCartney)
Never the Bride (done)
(inspired when studying chinese...weird)
Hmm...apparently this story has a few mixed reviews. Just to clarify (for both Never the Bride and When a Jock likes you) I haven't read Stephenie Meyers yet so if my writing seems to be a little like hers, its ENTIRELY coincidental (trying to imitate someone's style only makes me feel uncomfortable and extremely weird when i'm writing). The marking thing (WAJLY) is more of a general element. How many supernatural stories do you see online where the vampire/ werewolf marks the girl? Yeah, I thought so=)
Current story in progress (undergoing major changes)
Game!
Netball is practically the female version of basketball. What attracts hotshot basketballer, Tristan Henderson to the new student, Lily Lee a netballer, his female version? Everything.
This is my very first story!! If you happen to know me personally, you will find that the jokes and puns sound painfully familiar...Ending sort of already in mind. You may have noticed that my chapters are all rather short. I can't write long stuff. Story may become interactive (voting), hint hint, what does that tell you?? Love triangle perhaps...
Characters profile
Lily Lee: Smart, sarcastic, quick-witted protagonist of the story. New student at Westville High and joins the school netball team. Has black hair, and 'midnight black' eyes.
Tristan Henderson: Your typical hot hunky, jock. Captain of Westville's basketball team. Unconventionally smart and intelligent. Has blue eyes and dark brown hair
Jordan Chase: Tristan's best friend, co-captain of basketball team, rather hormonally-charged teenager (changes girlfriends like he changes clothes), smart. Grey eyes, dark brown hair.
Rules of Netball
Not only did the Canadian immigrant James Naismith invent basketball in 1891 but he was instrumental in the invention of Netball . In 1895 Clara Baer, a sports teacher in New Orleans , wrote Naismith asking for a copy of the rules. It was Clara Baer’s interpretation of the rules which began the evolution of Netball .
Netball turned out somewhat similar to basketball but with some major differences:
- No backboard on the hoop
- No running with the ball
- Players can only hold the ball for only 3 seconds
- Smaller ball
- Players are allocated specific positions which restricts them to certain areas on the court
- There are seven players on each team and each player has a designated area on the court.
- Only two positions on the team may shoot and goal shots must be taken from within the semi circle surrounding the netball post.
