Author has written 14 stories for Life, General, Fantasy, Mythology, Horror, General, and Humor. Age: 21 Gender: Male Hey! Welcome to my profile. I'm Anthony. I am a graduate student, working on my masters in English literature at SUNY Brockport and working at Wal-Mart. I went to Niagara University, where I got my undergrad in English and philosophy. I've been writing for quite some time, and have three books published, Origin of the Sword Saint, Quest of the Sword Saint, and Mercy of the Sword Saint, all of which had, previous to publication, been posted here on FictionPress. Reviews, whether suggestions or commentation, are very welcome and will be payed back as promptly as is feasible. The other stuff on here isn't so serious as my novels, but your thoughts on those are appreciated as well. If you want to check out either my books, go to www.publishedauthors.net/talesofthedarkkensai and be sure to sign the guestbook while you're there. Poetry: My biggest influences for poetry are William Blake, William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge (yeah, I'm essentially a hopeless Romantic). I tend to write poems that have philosophical themes. Short Stories: I'm trying to branch out from novels and write in other genres. In all honesty, my poetry and short stories aren't my best work, but they are useful experiments. Hopefully they'll make me a better writer; even more hopefully, some of them will be enjoyable to read. Most of my short stories either take the form of dystopian/utopian societies or fairytales of some sort. Novels: My novels are mostly set in Afanadar. I invented this world in the story The Guardian's Legacy, which I wrote when I was fifteen years old. I am now currently rewriting this novel. My published novels, the Sword Saint series, are all set in this world, as is the fourth one, Shadows of the Sword Saint. What I have completed of that is posted here. I have some other novels both in Afanadar and not in mind, and maybe will post them here if I ever get around to them. If you review me, I will at minimum match your review. So if you review one chapter of something I wrote, I will review at least one chapter of something you wrote, if not more. Might take me a few days, but I will. And I absolutely crave feedback, so please do not be afraid to read and review! Thanks! Well, that's enough about me. I hope you like what I have here. P.S. I recently had to remove much of my work here, because I am having an anthology of my poems and short stories published. It is going to be called "out crept the stars." I will inform you of updates! | |||||||
