I often go by the reasoning that writing is very much like painting. There are many artists who can paint fairly decent things, but very rarely do you come across something like the Mona Lisa. Same goes for stories I suppose.

En avance, let me apologize for my harsh but what I hope are realistic and helpful reviews. (Since I've already had people telling me I'm too critical and harsh.) In actual fact I'm not harsh by nature. But I tend to find for myself that most reviews mainly consisting of: "omgz. I lurve it!" or "Argh he's SO hawt! keep writing!" generally have never helped me, rather it was the really harsh and cruelest of comments that helped me the most. So let me be the devil to these angel reviews.

Alright so perhaps a little about myself finally. We are all filled with egoism or self-obsession in some way or another I should think.

I love fantasy books. Pullman's His Dark Materials and Holly Black's books are awesome. I'm a real sucker too for all those trashy high school cliche books usually containing a loser girl and a hot jock who steals her heart and then in the end she almost always ends up with her best guy friend who always is hot too. (Are that many people in the world really that physically beautiful? I must be blind or something.) Further than that, I'd love to call myself a ballerina if only I could do the splitz. Right now I actually have an economics essay due and instead of finishing it I gave myself a french manicure and watched heroes.

p.s. Also please bare with my amateur English. It's not my first (written) language.
