Hello

Warning: I am a morning person. Beware.

Name: My nicknames are Meg and Darth Buttercup

I'm a normal-ish fifteen-year-old girl. Wait, who am I kidding? I'm frickin' insane. I hear things, see things, and feel things that aren't really there. It's scary. And I'm pretty sure my brain isn't connected all the way. And there is no way I am ever going on medication for it. I like window shopping, but I hate the concept of money. Money is evil. Money is horrid. Money is the source of all strife in the world. I get distracted by pretty colors when I'm shopping, but usually I'm the down-to-earth one. I'm the Listener. People will just talk around me, and a lot of people have told me that I brighten their life. It's a really heavy burden, being the knight in shining armor. People ask me what's wrong if I'm not bouncing up and down and smiling and focused. That in and of itself is pretty bad. It means I never get a down day in peace.

I am no longer that blunt. Now I'm the quiet one who never really speaks her mind concerning deep matters, just pretends to be besotted with words. Seriously, no one really knows my opinion about half the things that matter in life. I've stopped talking about it. Now it hurts me to the core when I know I've been blunt. It makes me want to curl up in a corner and die, until I forget the incident.

Now, for my writing career:

I have read voraciously for almost five years now. I read LotR when I was seven. I've written (rather corny) fan fiction since I was ten (I don't have it posted online for a reason), and wrote the prologue of my first book when I was eleven and a half. I can remember my writing career between the ages of ten and twelve and a half in great detail. I started with a co-writer, and she and I work on the same world as Amy's Diary. I didn't even dream about working on a different writing project until I was at about twelve and a half. Then came Brooke, who was inspired by an English assignment. It formed the background for she and Nate. Then my mom found a couple who wanted to RP with us, and I started playing again, my first experience with RPGs being when I was seven. My RP character was Lynne, who became sister to the half-formed Lightsong. The rest of my stories quickly followed, and I am here today.

About my style: I spend a lot more time developing the story than I do writing. I figure that I've over analyzed most of them, and am going to try to spend more time writing now. I absolutely hate writing sad parts, but I get through them for the same reason I get through boring parts when I read. I know that it'll get better(if it doesn't, then I burn the book). I cannot write a sad part, and not have something fix the sadness eventually. I'd make myself depressed. I've been writing a lot, but more on pet projects that I'm actually hoping on getting published someday than these little fun things.

Likes: Good books, Music, Remembering to do things, Good movies, Chocolate, Potatoes, Big words, Dragons, Unicorns, Griffins, Creeping my brother out, Celtic knots, Dolphins, Hawaii, Sunny days, Thunderstorms, Being a know-it-all, and Wearing loud clothes

Dislikes: Bad Romances, Authors who produce said bad romances; unless they are already friends, Assorted bad musics, Forgetting to do things, Rude people, Uniformitarianism, Philip Pullman (the king of bad romances), Feeling stupid, Things that I don't understand, Drippy cloudy weather.

This year's goals: To be what I want to be (and maybe pull off a book while I'm at it)

Stories in progress (I will tell you if there are depressing romances, in my mind):

BTW I will be working on whichever one catches my attention. Updates may be haphazard.

The Magicsinger

In Progress. Someone also mentioned that I 'rushed' into the story. I am going to point out now that I am going to rewrite these, so don't expect them to be perfect. I do appreciate your comments on what I did wrong though.

Lynne comes home from her adventures for her sister's wedding. But when all goes wrong, the only two left to avenge the dead are Lynne and her little sister Lightsong. Their newfound powers are always getting in the way. How would you like to listen to the soul-song of everything in the universe? An elven druid, a nymph wielding a sword taller than herself, and two very annoying cats come to their aid. But the adventure turns into something much more important than revenge, for the great empire that has left them alone all these years is back.

The Magi of the Elements

In Progress. One planet so overpopulated that they have started taking the Spartan way, leaving the different, the weak, and the idiotic to die on the only mountain they can't dominate, for the magical Naiads live there. Another planet, elves and humans lived in harmony. Technology depends on magic, but the humans became haughty, and to save nature, the elves let loose the terrible monsters. The last planet, pure in magic, stuck in the golden age before the dark ages. Cold Iron and visiting spaceships might just set off the change. Three champions are needed, but with backgrounds like theirs, will they be ready in time?

Saving the People of Pathaco

In Progress. Brooke and Nate are best friends. They join a gaming group of the most imaginative college freshman, including the sixteen-year-old girl Alethea. But when they all get sucked into their own game to save that world, what do they do? As they try to get home, things just get scarier and scarier. But when they work together, eleven crazy freshmen can do a lot more than anyone hoped.

Amy's Diary

In Progress. Amy had never been a proper lady. She couldn't embroider and she couldn't manage a household. What she could do was sneak off to weapons practice with her cousin. Her stepmother would not put up with that. So when her sisters ran away, she did too. But when she reaches the amazon city, she learns that there is no such thing as an easy life. Especially when your sisters are the heirs to the elven throne long prophesied of. Prophesied to do what exactly? Start a war with the biggest, baddest mortal on the block. Amy must help them win, or the whole world could be covered in darkness. Note: Has the Drahcoterran Prophecy.

Hawaiian Vampire

Odette has lived on the Hawaiian island of Kauai all of her life. Her father has a high-paying job, and they are all important mages. But that doesn't keep Odette from working hard. She is stronger than half the boys at school. She makes and sells herbal remedies that work better than prescriptions. With all the hard work she planned, she never thought to fall in love. But when a troubled vampire enters her life and turns everything upside down, she'll have to heal, magic, and study a more than ever to keep things calm. And that little bit of affection won't seem to go away
