Hi there!
I am a Junior at a college in Northwest Ohio looking for more people to read over stories I write.
I know, what a God awful introduction, but I'm working on improving it at some point. I am studying English Writing so why not join something that will give me a chance to have a honest evaulation of my work from people that I don't know that well, but I could get to know better. I enjoy playing around with genre boundaries and I want to write more stories with a magical realism or slipstream feel to them.
Oh, in case you are wondering where I got 'Velvela' from, I'm part of a Fraternity corollary (Alpha Phi Tau) and that's the pledgename I was given. Yes, people in Greek organizations write stories, I mean not all of us do, but most of us do. I am also in a Sorority, Epsilion Upsilion Gamma, better known as the Euglossian Society. I though it would be better than some long name where you get confused from looking at it for far too long.
