Hello! My name is Holly and I am an aspiring author. I am seventeen years old and a big fan of fantasy and the supernatural. I love to read stories that have a magical edge to them - that is believable. I find stories that jump in anywhere with underexaggerated shock completely lame. Honestly, after a person finds out that they can move objects with their mind, they are bound to feel more shock than the cliche, "Ohmigod, this can't be happening. I must be going insane!" Something about those lines irk me, expecially if that person doesn't at least have four or five chapters full of their life not pertaining to magic. It leaves the main character extremely dull with no personality. Shortcuts in writing are not tolerable. Okay, so I may be a little bit of a hypocrite, but you can sleep well knowing I die a little inside each time this happens. ;P

Anyway, I have the first chapter of my first fiction story written. As I write this, I am trying to think of a good title. It is about a young princess that has grown up training like a prince. Her mother - and the maids that helped her deliver - decided that the birth of a son was never to happen and told the king it was a boy. Thus, King Edward's heir was named. Blah...
