just a few of my favorite things;
green t-shirts, poetry, words, sunshine, photography, long novels, literature, staying up late, love, friends, hugs, chocolate, musicals, foreign films, lowercase letters, horror movies, kissing (though i rarely do it), watching the world disperse, taking pictures of eyes, the violin, music, plays, pink lemonade, sunflowers, lilies, flirting (though i rarely do it), staying out late, cruising around with friends, playing music too loud, laughing, smiling, feeling infinite, reading a book that changes you, electric blankets, compliments, chocolate-chip cookies, shakespeare, gooey brownies, hearing 'i love you' when it really means the most, being in love, freedom, missing calls from people you love (just a sign that they care), talking on the phone for hours.
just a few of my least favorite things;
the color orange, vegetables, centipedes, rude people, disappointing people, writers block, being caged, extremely loud people, sexists, racists, politics, bad movies, bad books, vampires, wet hair, feeling left out, seeing everyone with someone they love and me having no one by my side, hatred (though that's kind of redundant, seeing as i hate hate), bad songs, rap, old literature (such as charles dickens... why does anyone like these books anyway? they're boring and they use big words when smaller ones could have made their point just the same, if not better. shakespeare is an exception), feeling sick, being tired, valentine's day (just another reminder that you're single and everyone else is not), drama and gossip, reality shows, bad acting, bad singing, sex, hairy men and bathtubs, lipstick.

recent ideas that will probably never see the daylight;
perfect: the memoirs of ariel lyn chambers
(Have you ever had moments where you felt life was perfect—if not perfect, than okay, all right? Have you ever had moments where you are walking barefoot outside on a warm Autumn day and the sun is warming the crown of your head, and you can hear the dogs barking from inside, smell the dinner cooking in the kitchen, feel every single leaf and rock and squirming, blind creature underneath you?)
if you're feeling sinister
(“Do you want to die young?” she asked, though I’m sure she wasn’t expecting an answer, because she went on. “Smoking is horrible for your health. People do it to die a slow death. You’re rotting away your liver, your brain cells, your gums and teeth! Do you want to lose those pretty white teeth and have the smell of smoke constantly clinging to your expensive clothes and your one-hundred dollar hair cut?” I stayed quiet, shocked that this girl had the gall to talk to me at all like that. If girls talked to me they either wanted answers for homework or sex. Sometimes both. No one had yelled at me about smoking, seeing as more than half of the school population smoked themselves.)
Salvation
(Gemma Renee Crane isn't the kind of girl who likes to attract attention. All she wants is to get that job at the coffee shop, get the music scholarship she wants so she can get out of Hellsville, Indiana, get a boyfriend before she graduates from high school, fit into a C cup bra, and not die a virgin. But days before her eighteenth birthday, she learns that she's been sworn to an angst-ridden, childish vampire because her mother was a cheating whore. Ah, woe is her. Yep, I've jumped on the vampire bandwagon. But my vampires don't sparkle in the sunlight.)
something wicked
(Aurelia is the daughter of a murderer and a prostitute who was hanged for her killings. Nikolas is a wealthy aristocrat who has a habit of taking in beautiful girls from the streets and keeping them for himself. Simone is his favorite of his 'slaves'. Marlene has never seen the sunlight in her life. What Aurelia mistakes as kindness is instead a dark obsession with beauty and pain. Yay! Oh, how I've missed horror. I'm hoping this one will be extremely long. It's a oneshot, by the way...)
fifth chapter of black & white is in the makings.
