12.07.08 - After a long and tense break of writing multitudes and not letting anyone see, I decided that I do really need an outlet, and if I ever begin to doubt myself again, all I need to do is go to the Young Adult section and click on the first story about Skye, the most popular guy in school (no actual reference intended).
Also, I'm a great believer in drafting. It's been proven that a nice makeover can turn the clunkiest story into a smooth, tight novel, all the more so with outside help. Isn't that what reviews are for?
When I review I don't say things like "I hated this", or "such and such was terrible", I try to give tips as to how (in my opinion) it can be made better for the next draft, along with saying what I like and enjoyed. I'd honestly appreciate it if you could do the same.
