~ Keep the love to yourself if it comes with a price. ~

I'm a proud Singaporean. 16. Aries. Wholly female... I think. 5 feet 7, which is pretty tall by our standards, thank you very much. Guilty of addictions to music, chocolates, and literature.

Poetry expresses what we ourselves feel and think, deep inside. Prose does just as nicely, but, done right, poetry succinctly summarizes everything a prose struggles to explain and describe. Of course, few have that talent... which is why we have emo poets, long-winded storytellers, and crappy authors.

Don't say I didn't warn you.

~ Don't make me believe your words so sweet / Don't let me watch the lovers weep / Take me in your arms tonight / We'll grieve as one before we lose this fight ~

12/11: THE EXAMS ARE OVER!! NO MORE BLOODY MIDYEARS OR PRELIMS OR O LEVELS!! NO MORE CRAMMING, PRACTISING, READING, REVISING, TOPIC-SPOTTING, NIGHTMARES AND EXCESSIVE STRESS ABOUT THE DAMNED EXAMS!!

Ahem. I just had to get that off my chest.

Honestly, though. We paid 50 bucks per paper for all that crap? Granted, they let us keep some of the papers, but what the hell? Who the eff invented this system anyway? What made them think students liked paying a bomb just so they can take an effing exam that stretches out for a month?

Die, Cambridge educators. (Don't tell them I said that.)

I deleted my ongoing projects. Dance of Life and Guardian of Sentience are officially history. (Of course you don't have to study those for your History exams.) Why, you ask? Because I ain't feelin' them no more.

Well, no. It's 'cause I'm putting them through a massive rewrite. Maybe some think they're not too bad, but I for one can't even stand to re-read them. So... yup. Sorry, peeps. But rest assured, you'll see them again. Someday.

On a lighter note, I'm currently stuck on one new project. For those who vaguely recall ImPulse, well, I've decided to make it into a two-part series. The first book will be The Hybrid Theory; the second will be ImPulse. Details below.

Great to be back online, chaps! :)

26/08: It pains me to say that I have not been updating anything since 2 and a half months ago.

I'm feeling the shame.

Anyway. In case anyone's asking, I've been busy with - guess what? - exams. I'm a student painfully caught in the educational system with no where to go but onward. Fortunately, I haven't fallen through the cracks yet, but there's still a chance I might get left behind.

Translation: I've been preparing for, taking and cursing examinations, I will still be caught in the torrent of exams until mid-Nov, I'm doing badly in maybe half my subjects and I might do worse as time goes on.

Doomsday message if ever I saw one. Wait till Jan 09, when our O Level results come. I might commit suicide. Keep your eyes peeled on the front page of international news. "Student organizes mass suicide attempt due to horrendous O level results; 20 dead, 157 badly injured."

Maybe it'll come out in the tabloids. Or online forums thrashing the educational systems.

Summary: had mid-year exams, having prelims, will be having Os.

And ain't my grammer just so great?

But on the plus side, I've gotten over my internet addiction. Yay.

To those who have been updating, thanks so much for being so damn fast (don't time just fly when you having fun?). I'll be sure to read through all 357 new chapters, new stories, new poems and new forum thread alerts. And, no, I ain't shitting you. It's really 357. I reckon it'll take me... hmm... 3 years? Add the revamp I'll be doing to my unfinished stuff and it might take a decade or so - give or take a year.

In short - ciao till mid-Nov. Unless I died halfway through exams, you can count on it.

~ 'Cause you know I'm keepin' you in mind / Just say you'll love me till time and space unwind ~

Oh, and by the way, the breaks (the parts between the squiggly lines) are entirely my own creations. Don't mess with them, yeah?

Oneshots - 16 and counting
Poems - 37 with many more to come...

Ideas (Not On FP Yet)
1) The Broken Connection ~ When twins say they can feel each other, don't doubt them for even a second. A life might just be at stake. If you've never believed in telepathy, Kay and Adel will change your mind. Slight humour, spiritual, slight romance, family.
2a) The Hybrid Theory ~ The thing about hybrids is that they have divided loyalties. Which werewolf wouldn't fight with a vampire? Instinct always wins... So how do you not betray yourself - and stay alive? Romance, supernatural.
2b) ImPulse ~ Vampire twins, part of a secret organization and right in the heart of a mission that doesn't seem to be ending as well as they thought it would. When revenge blurs the lines between personal and professional, when love interferes with the fight between good and evil... Everything changes. Even 500 year old vampires. Romance, supernatural.
3) Remember ~ A collection of stories based on true events that have changed the world as people once knew it. Momentum I, Part I 50 percent complete. Note: each Momentum (or event, if you wanna be straightforward) should have no more than 3 parts. Romance, spiritual, general, action, war, humour, life, tragedy. (ON HIATUS)

~ I fail to see the connection between logic and creativity. Logic is a world of dull patterns and needless organization; creativity is a universe of abstract, random inspirations that adds that perfect touch of chaos. ~

All works under my name are, obviously, mine. So be nice; look, but don't touch. You'll find that monsters are better left docile and unprovoked.

~ Concern yourself not with whether God is on our side; instead, ask yourself if you are on His side. ~
